Rear arm rest stuck

So I got an issue I noticed a couple weeks ago. The rear arm rest will come out a few inches but wont fully open. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue and know a fix for it. I don't have kids or back seat passengers very often. its not a big Issue just curious if anyone else has had this issue.

It has cup holders in it but can also be an arm rest.

This is as far as it will come out. I cant feel anything in the hinges as well. Im stumped.

I'm about to take mine to the dealer for some recalls.. I will see if they can tell me what is wrong with it.

I was wondering did you get a resolution?
I just got a 2022 badlands and I also have this issue. Dealer agreed to repair when they schedule the mechanic.

When the seats are laid forward, are the hinges or lower area viewable? Wondering if that would make it easier to get an eye on the problem...

Update : repaired today. It was debris jamming the hinge. Works great afterwards.

I too have an update. service said there was gunk in the hinges. they cleaned it out and it is now working.

I literally got mine back yesterday from being fixed and getting some recalls done!

It appears we have the same timeline . I also went for 6 open recalls. None were completed. Parts ordered for rear camera (backorder), rear shock repair, seatbelt buckle fix.
No solution yet for fuel delivery and driver seat pivot bolt recalls. They called them advance notice recalls.

At least the armrest was repaired.
