A great event. Ford should seriously consider letting people pay to do the off-roadeo gigs as often as they want. They went through a great deal of expense to crack Jeep’s stranglehold on off roading and it’s a shame that you only get one go per VIN purchase. It was a blast - whether you’re a grizzled vet or newb, the scenery alone is worth the trip. Our FoMoCo team at the Mt. Potosi facility was aces - THANKS to Paul, Blake, Dave and Travis. I thought my wife was gonna shit herself on the Ultra4 laps!

My ability to attend is expiring, I think in June, but I just don't have the time to go by then. It seems like a fantastic event.

We hiked all over Red Rock Canyon before and after the roadeo. Check out a town called Blue Diamond - good local brews at a place called Cottonwood Station Cafe. Daytime temps were 75 and clear. Of course August will be toasty but I’m willing to bet you’ll be smiling. Take a bandana or something to breath through if you like the windows down - dusty.

I'll be there soon.

What did you learn about your Braptor that you didn't know or appreciate prior to attending Roadeo?

I learned that the truck is totally overbuilt. The trucks we drove had about 7 to 8K miles - all of it at the offroadeo. The interiors were still tight - no rattles. The BFG’s were a bit chewed up and wheels were hammered to hell but everything still worked as designed. The one pedal feature is great. The jump landing is like - “did we land?” - butter smooth. I’d been hitting this railroad crossing near my house and getting some air so had a hunch it was smooth but even with bigger air - still damn amazing.

Going in 2 weeks! Was about to expire so figured out a way to make it happen.
On a good note they put the jump back in on the course as of Feb I hear, it was still closed down last summer when I went which sucked.

I stayed at the Red Rock (nice hotel) for a quick in and out weekend off The Strip which is a first for me. Overall, a well run event with enthusiastic instructors that's a one-size-fits-all Bronco Raptor experience. 2nd half of day was the real fun which is the ~1 hour drive to Raptor Valley for a 3 lap thrilla (1 instructor, 2 you) in their Raptor "gravel/granite" course and 2 jumps.
  • I learned to actually use all the "hero" buttons on the top panel along with the GOAT modes. Triple lockers are nothing new to me, but the way they instantaneously actuate is pretty sweet. Used the sway bar disconnect a lot which makes a massive difference on trails. Didn't know about the one-pedal trail feature which came in handy, but will likely never use again. Was mostly in off-road mode.
  • The gravel/granite course is a veritable Bronco Raptor roller coaster ride at the helm of the Raptor Roadeo instructor. The insanely banked turns combined w/ elevation changes is something that no Lexus GX550 Overtrail, 4Runner TRD PRO, Defender OCTA, Wrangler 392 or G63 anything can handle anytime soon let alone bone stock. The Braptor's drivetrain & suspension software/hardware coupling is truly its piece de resistance.
  • The two jumps go by so fast, but it made me laugh out loud. It's just absurd that you can do this with a bone stock, factory backed vehicle.
Overall, Bronco Raptor Off-Roadeo made me appreciate the truck even more. I'm all about modding vehicles, but the Raptor truly needs nothing. You're just going to compromise or mod out the broad spectrum of capability that it delivers straight outta Raptor hq.

I honestly was 50/50 burning a weekend away from home to do this, but zero regrets. I have the memories to cherish and a Bronco Raptor that I appreciate even more now!

This is the Bronco Raptor's money maker

First half of day was slower paced and observe mode

Pics flatten everything out; this was pretty steep where we used 1 pedal trail

Thanks for the memories!

Great write up. I'll be going in August 🔥🔥🔥. I feel like I know most all the features but looking forward to learning the one-pedal feature.

I hate that I missed the jump when we went back in November ‘24. It was a memorable event even without the jump. Watching a $100k Raptor get rolled was worth the price of admission. As easy as they have made the course- there are still some who just don’t have the experience…

Someone went belly up? Wow. The biggest highlight was by far their gravel/granite course. It was legit a roller coaster experience with instructor piloting. I wish I got more laps. 2 jumps were plenty.

We got lucky with the weather. Was sunny, not windy and not crazy hot. Enjoy and please report back!

I did the Vegas Off-roadeo a few years ago with my first 2dr Bronco purchase. I just bought a BRaptor. I can’t decide if I should do Vegas again to get the Raptor experience or head to the Moab Off-Roadeo. Is the track an instructor driven ride-along? This feels like a dumb question(which means it usually is), but did you think it would be worth doing Vegas a second time over getting to do Moab?
