Currently on fence as I am not one of the car AV guys and haven't been for nearly 2 decades so I do not know the quality of speakers anymore. I am looking for a complete swap of my system with upgraded sub, sound deadening the rear cargo area, upgrading to 6.5 rear speakers, and amp for the car speakers (removing the center dash unless go with Mobridge setup. So 3 options I am currently between:

Trail Seven Alpine Status system ~$4-5K (https://trailseven.com/products/alp...21-current-ford-bronco?variant=45898415571197) Would need sound deadening as well on top of this. Would install myself over a few days. This would be wired up for everything and include the speaker connections for an easy swap.

Mobridge option ~$4K - Mobridge Amp, Morel IR-BMW4INT in dash, Morel Hybrid MW6 MKII in kicks, JL Audio 8W3v3-4 in stock sub location, no rear speaker swap and sound insulation for cargo.

Local shop option ~$3K - Audison AP6.5 kicks, Audison AP1 tweeters, APX4 for rears (asking about upgrade to 6.5 MTI), PAC audio AP4-FD31 amp for Audio control tailgate sub and potentially a kenwood xr901-5 amp for speakers.

While I have read the Mobridge amp is amazing the tuning does worry me a little bit vs having either the shop or trail seven already having that done already for me. I don't plan on fully removing my top at the moment though the fronts and mid portion will be off some if that makes a difference. At end of day I am looking to be able to jam out as I listen to a wide mix of music from country, hip hop, to EDM. I want to feel the sub when I want but when the wife and kid are in the car to tame the system.

So please help me and steer me in the right direction.

I went through this journey with my Raptor. A couple things I highly recommend
1.) Make sure you get a proper A2B interface no matter which way you go. There are three available Mobridge, Zen, or Pac. Personally the Zen is the best sounding, the Pac is the worse. I went with the Mobridge.
2.) Time alignment for the sub to the midbass is critical - To get nice punchy bass and descent sound. Most of the Bronco systems I heard sound terrible in this area do to poor tunning.
3.) The Audison speakers are really good - I would make sure you go with the 2ohm version of the Ap6 (I just did the APX4 in the dash and skipped the separate tweeter, sounds very good)
4.) Unless you have rattles that you want to address, I would skip the sound proofing, it's a loud vehicle and you will not be able to make it quiet. The roof, doors, and firewall are big sources of noise and you have a hole plugged with a plastic insert in the cargo area that will always allow noise to get in.
5.) I am not a fan of the tailgate sub - I don't like adding that much weight or giving up the real estate. If you really want the tailgate sub, go with VS FDB 13-S TG from Proline. It will fit a Jl audio 13w5 (best sub for the job). I went with the SSV sub enclosure with an AudioMobile 10" sub and am pretty happy with it. If someone wanted "massive bass" Proline makes a box that covers the rear floor as a direct fit that can do dual 12" or 4 10" or you could look at the Foxbox for dual 15"s.

If you plan to do this yourself, I recommend that you think about other electrical things you want to bring to the rear of the vehicle and run all the wires at the same time. I planned for my rearview mirror camera, air compressor, and a 2nd battery.

Good luck - I think you will be happier no matter which system you go with.

How much real estate did you lose with the SSV enclosure? While I would lose a few inches with the tailgate setup I am more concerned on losing the width as my daughter plays hockey as a goaltender so space is a premium to fit her gear.
