What dash cam are you using it with? I've been leaning toward the Garmin 57, at least out of the options Dongar has on their website, but I haven't done much research into other brands or models yet.

Still debating this as well. Leaning towards the Garmin Tandem, that way I have a view of the cabin when parked and running topless.

i bought one from BestBuy..their house brand.. one thing it lacks that i'd recommend you ensure you get..APP connectivity.. i'd like to be able to connect to it via an app to review footage, not take out and go inside to plug up and review.. (or remove memory card and take inside). I'll probably replace with a garmin in near future...hopefully there will be some Black Fri sales..

The hitch is super easy (10 minutes tops), I got the Curt when it was on sale at NAPA.

looks pretty simple! so does one not need the wiring harness as well? forgive my ignorance when it comes to towing.

I just got the stuff to add the wiring, it’s going to be my Saturday project you don’t have to have trailer lights but you can get a ticket especially at night. Here is what I got to get to the 7 pin plug, I don’t need brakes or backu lights so figured I would go this route

There's really not much to write up. I just bought the plug/cable, cut the hole, and fished it down to the USB port in the console. Eventually I want to give it dedicated power. I put the hole in that little piece so I wouldn't ruin my whole dash if I messed up.

Finally found the best phone charger I’ve come across. Wireless charging, motorized grips! Had to upgrade to the ram accessories to get it in a good location. Just ran metal screws into the grab handle. Very sturdy

25mm to 17mm ball adapter. This is the key piece to get normal small ball mounts onto a ram 1” ball mount.

Don’t mind the cord. All I had on hand for tonight.
