Hello,

Been wanting to upgrade my front bumper from the basic plastic one to the OEM modular bumper and had questions.

1. Is it possible to upgrade it?
2. Is it easy to do it myself?
3. How much does it cost?
4. Can you provide link(s) to purchase?

I have:
2025 Base Bronco w/ Sasquatch Package.
No parking sensors or any other packages.

Thank you in advance.

Ten minute job, if you don't do the recalibration (which you wouldn't do for any of the 50 other aftermarket bumpers). A ten year old can do it, it's six bolts.

*edit, this is a bumper swap, a new one from Ford requires assembly of a bunch of parts. Still a home job that anyone can do.

Easy job without sensors to relocate or fog lights to delete (capable). You can do it.

Cost depends on where you get uour bumper from.

The official Ford one is about $1,100 (but frequently with 15-20% discount and can use Ford Points)

Takeoffs aren’t uncommon and run around $500

Chinese knockoffs run around $300.

Not sure what salvage yard prices are

Thinking about doing this upgrade also. But mine has the sensors. What else is involved with this type of upgrade.

Mistake on my earlier post: What also is needed is either cutting off your tow hooks (the mod bumper has shackle mounts), this is a 3 minute job with a sawzall or cut-off wheel, or the alternative is getting the different intercooler mounts (that come with OEM kit, if purchased new).

Here is the link to the bumper WITH sensor holes.

I replaced my plastic with an aftermarket. Still required the recovery hooks to be removed. You can unbolt the assembly from the bronco and cut them off a bench. It's easy. I used a cutoff wheel.

I believe the Ford kits come with the new intercooler mounts that don't require any cutting.

If you buy a takeoff or cheap chinese knockoff - then yeah, you either cut the tow hooks off (they are built into the intercooler mount for the plastic bumper), or you replace the intercooler mounts yourself (about $150 for both if I recall)

*edit*

I wrote all this, and then I see you literally said all that in your post as well - sorry. I blame my teachers, I never learned to read so gud.

What bumper do you currently have?

I just replaced my Capable Bumper with sensors for a Modular Bumper, nothing difficult about it.

Dependent upon the bumper you have it may be necessary to replace two of the sensors and un-wrap and re-wrap the harness to make it work.

If you have the Modular Bumper I can provide additional details.
