Howdy bronco nation —

if I’m trying to install the modular bumper and switch out my capable bumper would I just need to order this? Or is there anything else I would need to be buying?

https://ebay.us/m/XWsFyW

I have a black diamond so it doesn’t make sense to buy fords kit with the skid plates and stuff but can’t find a definitive answer

please help🥹

Bronco Nation is an entirely different site.

I suspect a product from BangBang Auto parts may not have fantastic quality control. Since the seller is rather vague as to their offering, I'd recommend you ask them.

I did the same with my first Bronco. I only trimmed the existing bash plate. Worked out great.

Hard to tell from the Ebay listing.

The modular bumper arrives in about 10 pieces that need to be assembled - it's not a single piece "bumper" like many aftermarket options are. I bought a chinese knock-off from amazon, and it arrived with 1 piece missing (2 LH brackets instead of a LH and RH) -- but being a relatively well-duplicated knock-off, the actual Ford piece worked in it's stead just fine.

So it's probably fine... but like @Neps recommends, you should ask the seller.

Also worth asking if this is official Ford parts, or knock-off pieces.

As far as having extra skid plates - that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you off-road, they are consumable items. And if you don't, there are always people looking for them.

It should work. I got one like that from Amazon. It was about that price and came with mounts for fog or off road lights too. Yours should be easier to install I was replacing the plastic bumper.
