I’m looking at four different catback systems. Two are Outlaw and two are Flow FX.

Outlaw 818144 and 818101 appear to be exactly the same, except that one costs nearly $300 more. What’s the difference?

Flow FX 718146 and 718122 also appear to be the same thing, but one is $40 more. Why?

Also, the catback systems are all on sale, so cost the same or less than the axle back systems. Are they essentially the same with extra piping, or is there a performance difference or diameter difference in the pipe before the mufflers? Can I buy the cheaper catback and just install from the axle back? Is there going to be any sound difference?

Any help is appreciated.

That's it. The 4 dr system needs to be longer. Odd that the Flowmaster site doesn't show the correct pics for the 2 dr vs 4 dr systems. Slackers!

The Borla cat-back system I bought has an extra extension pipe to use on the 4 dr. Just leave it off for the 2 dr.

If you buy a cat-back, just install the whole thing, it's easy. If you try to just install the rear pipes, it may not match up to the Ford front section.

I was interested in the same question, so that you for the answers. But I have another question. How do I know whether to go with the Cat-Back or the Axle Back? Or do they both fit and it's all about preference? I have a Bronco Wildtrak, 4 Door, 2.7L
