Question about engine repair labor

My vehicle is having its PCM and engine wiring harness replaced at the dealership. Was wondering if anyone knows how many hours it would practically take for this repair? The dealership is being vague and just telling me a long time...

Hi, I'm a service advisor, albeit at Land Rover. They should be giving you a roundabout time frame, but I'd imagine no later than 3-4 days, max. Ford does thing differently, but it's not like their dropping the engine out.

I don't know how complex the Bronco's engine harness is. The PCM's physical replacement likely takes just a couple hours, perhaps plus programming, but there's quite a bit of routing that has to be done for most modern engine harnesses. I could probably do it in my home garage in a weekend, so I gotta believe a properly trained tech could do it in 2-3 days or so.

Thanks! They started Monday and said it'll be done by the Thursday or Friday. They have been BSing be for week now, so I was just double checking
