That is a good point. I didn't even think about the difference between % and °Does the road sign say 6 degrees or 6 percent? Tangent (rise over run) of 3 degrees is just over a 5% grade, or in other direction, 6% grade is 3.4 degrees.
Out of interest, 100% grade is 45 deg?Does the road sign say 6 degrees or 6 percent? Tangent (rise over run) of 3 degrees is just over a 5% grade, or in other direction, 6% grade is 3.4 degrees.

According to the folks at the Texas Off-Roadeo there really aren't defined or recommended 'limits' on pitch and roll because it varies so much by tire size, lift, load, load location, even tire pressure, etc., all of which affect the center of gravity which determines the pitch and roll 'limits'.Curious...is there a threshold to our inclinometer? Does it turn "red" when it gets close to the Bronco's roll & pitch design limits?
We went over this earlier in this thread, in which I learned something:6% on the street sign, 3 degrees in the dash
