I just bought some vinyl wrap material that was about 3 inches wide over it. Has been on for 3 years and still looks great. Easypeasy.

Bought my pinch-weld covers off Amazon and fortified the adhesive component with some well placed double-sided 3M tape (heavy duty). That shits never coming off. There was never any water issues, dust issues, etc. You may be able to find something cheaper from some Chinesium company online, that's just as good.

I used a 1" Aluminum strip, you can actually get it at a Home Depot I first Polish it with Mothers California Gold Wheel polish and then marked and drilled where my E-Steps would hold it in place. Also added the full length LED to the side and connected to the E-Step. Nice Polished look, clean and no issues with Rusting etc.
