DV8 Pinch Weld covers installed...

Just installed the DV8 pinch weld covers. Super easy install & nice/solid powder coated steel pieces. Really looks great if you're not planning on installing rock sliders. I installed these on my OBX even though I raised the tub steps 1" (via a mod here) to better hide the pinch weld area. The DV8 pieces came out nice and look quality!

Installed the DV8 Pinch Weld covers this morning, to add to the post above these covers are solid, 1/8 inch thick and bent at the correct angles. Got them off of Amazon, so free two day shipping, $89.99 plus state tax.

I installed DV8s pinch weld cover on my Bronco Wildtrak 2-door. I liked the DV8 for 2-doors since it’s one (1) piece of steel, most are two (2) pieces bolted on and together. Photo attached, just expand to view. $80 for the 2-door covers.

Many make them now.

The ones you posted do look like the Ford Accessories ones from Bushwacker I think it was. I have them on mine. Bought with Ford points.

I ran across the bushwacker pinch weld covers when I was looking for something to put in the threshold besides anti-skid tape to help with footing and keep the scratching down. On a side note, they added an extra layer of protection and reinforcement when I installed the rock slide engineering slider steps as well
