Phantom middle back seat passenger

Last week I started getting seat belt notifications for the empty middle back seat. Have to put the seat belt on

False alarm. Last week when it first happened, my kid buckled the belt and I've only tried unbuckling while the truck was running. Confirmed that unbuckling while started cleared it. Sorry.

Mine did it as well. Dealer replaced the middle seatbelt sensor.

My 2025 has been to the dealership twice for this. The first time they returned it to me with instructions to turn off the rear passenger alert in the head unit.... So I called and explained. The second time first they called to repeat last advice so I explained again and told them to put two buckled passengers in the rear door side seats and no one in the middle....then they called, confirmed the known "feature" (BUG) and provided instructions that if I don't touch the seatbelt it won't go off.... So middle seat belt stays awkwardly buckled now - check! How silly.

My 2025 does it too. We just buckle the seat belt to make is stop.
