Side note,

I love your Badlands!

I also ordered velocity blue and a hardtop.

How are you liking that color and top? Any issues?

Thanks!
Thank you sir 🙏🏼. I love it. Zero regrets. Every-time I walk out to it, im smiling. Constantly trying to find reasons to drive it 🤣. Drives great, hands down better then the wrangler. Tons of mods to make it truly yours. The color I originally wanted, was looking for, was actually the carbonized grey metallic. I wasnt really aware of eruption green and velocity blue. Saw them on the website but dismissed them as the website makes them look horrible. However, when I finally saw velocity blue in person, I was sold. And then it had everything else I wanted from a build spec sheet. Pulled the trigger. It worked out great man. It could just be me but in my area everyone ended up getting some version of the greys. Either carbonized grey, area 51, iconic silver, cactus grey, or azure grey. And that would have been me too had I ordered. You rarely see the velocity blue or eruption green and the color on them really pops!!!! Its that perfect balance of a color between fun/childish but still serious when it needs to be.

Manual is probably the only option I can see as needing an order. That’s understandable. Dealers wont order those, too small of a market I guess. Hope you get your order soon. You wont regret it. Cheers.
I would counter there could be other options and in our case it is how we plan to use our Bronco and needing at least the Hard Top (w/roof rack) and the Hoss 3.0.
The 3.0 suspension package swaps out the SAS the Hoss 2.0’s Bilstein shocks with Fox shocks. Including remote reservoirs and aluminum bodies that will more efficiently dissipate heat. With revised spring rates, adding a rear stabilizer bar, and inner and outer tie rods that are 32% stronger than the other non-Raptor Bronco models, providing a 40% gain in maximum load compared to the standard Bronco rack.
With our dealer contracted MY2022.5 price (+ price protection), if I bought one off any lot today, it would be at least $15K-20K more than my current order/cost.

Reviews between 2.0 to 3.0 don’t seem to show a significant difference. Quite a few on the forms. If that’s important to you then you have to wait for it and order. Most notably/commented is that 3.0 is generally a “softer” ride. Which for most people is a plus for sure. If its worth waiting, then its worth waiting. I wasn’t in the market for a wildtrack so that wasnt a consideration for me. Was set on badlands. I am considering upgrading to a set of king 2.5 suspension but will probably do that when the factory sas tires need to be replaced and do a entire project to convert to 37”s.

I have read it depends on how and where the Bronco is run. I have read mixed reviews as well.
For me I didn't want to play with any of the suspensions geometry and decided stay stay with best available" stock configuration. Added strength to front rack a bonus!
King makes a great product! Don't forget your UCA & LCA's, and consider beefing up the tie rods with the larger wheels and if you decide to lift it more than 1". Sounds like a great set up!

That's awesome!

Thanks for review! Now I'm even MORE impatient/excited.

I’m in a weird situation.
When I first placed my order I was told I could wait up to 10 months. I was fully prepared to wait. Here’s where it gets weird:

Two weeks after I placed my order I recieved an email saying it was scheduled for production. I was shocked and called my dealer— and they confirmed.

My daily driver was a Wrangler that I needed to sell for my down payment—so I put it up for sale and sold it within a week. This was two weeks after I was given a production date. I’ve been driving my partner’s car and he’s been driving his 71 Chevelle to work. It’s not the best car to commute in, and needs a lot of work—- but we figured we could make it work for a couple of months.

Wellllllll— now my production date has been bumped by almost a month— so, if it keeps getting bumped and I don’t have it by the end of July, I’ll need to cancel my order and purchase another Wrangler.

I just wish they didn’t send out production emails until 1 week before the vehicle is actually scheduled. It makes more sense than having a ton of people let down by their rotating door of production dates 🤷🏻‍♀️
Welcome to the waiting club.... I first received my scheduled for production email, scheduled for 3/27. It was pushed a couple of times until I actually saw scheduled production date of 4/28. At which point I decided to sell my vehicle, hitch a ride with a coworker. Three weeks later and additional 4-5 weeks of delay, I decided to purchase a '23 Gladiator.

Last update on my build was 6/26, until the date disappeared last Thursday and is sitting at "order confirmed". I'm plan to purchase the Bronco once it's finally built, assuming I can get decent money back from the Gladiator.

I am having a really hard time understanding why people are having trouble with getting a bronco. Is $1-3k of added mark up that much??? That its making you wait 12+ month??? Really? My bronco that I paid $3k mark up for…is now being built on the ford website (exact spec) for $4k over my msrp (window sticker). Found the bronco on 2/11/23 on cars.com, drove to the dealer on 2/11/23, paid $3k over msrp (window sticker).

Fast forward to today and the window sticker to build my same bronco on the ford website is my original msrp + $4,350. Anyone who buys my same bronco spec today, even without any mark up at all, is going to pay more then I did WITH my mark up.

Moral of the story. Go get it off a lot if you really want it. They are there. And that one option that your going to use as an excuse to have to order…you dont need it. Many examples of no mark up at all also. So when I see posts like this. I cant help but think…you might be doing it to yourself. Yah Ford is not helping the situation, clearly, but common on guys.

Also can you add a option “Did not want to wait and got my bronco off the lot”
Just my two cents... Just getting any Bronco off the lot is one thing, but once you realize the options that are available, finding one with all the goodies you want is another.

I was lucky enough to purchase a base trim Bronco off the lot without any ADM. But soon after I purchased that Bronco, I did more research and realized I wanted one with more options.

Agreed. These are like wranglers. Can configure them in too many ways.

Hello everyone, new to the site. I received an email from Ford on 27 January with a production date for my Heritage Edition for the week of March 6th. It has now been delayed 7 times with a build week of 12 June. I do have a VIN # but I'm worried it will not get built anyone else been delayed this long? Thanks. Greg

I would agree with you if a person will take whatever is out there and doesn't care about options and does the "I can live without it game" then it would work. I have a specific 2dr spec I want and I ordered it. I too went on Cars.com and found a bazillion stripper OBX and Big Bends out there. A lot of 4 dr SAS in various trims. I read about people advising others to just get one and add OEM parts later. I don't have any desire to dick around spending time and money to nickle and dime a Bronco to try to make it something close to what I wanted to order in the first place...just to get one. You got yours and you were okay with whatever option or color you didn't get that you may have ordered. that is fantastic, you get to enjoy it now. If I stumble across one that has my spec I would grab it even with a small ADM....I just don't feel like spending months trying to find part numbers for crap I would rather just have Ford install....so I wait, and that's ok.

We heard a rumor that the paint was flaking on the mod top, but isn’t it speculation that this is what is holding up production at this point?

LoCoBro reports “On Tim's podcast tonight he said he talked with the Bronco brand manager about our HE delays. In a nutshell the answer was quality but no specific details as expected.”

I believe you should be good. I’m in the same boat, with a vin# and original build date in March, now week of 7/10. The 10 digit of our vin#s make them a 2023. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Retired from a Ford dealership with 27 years in the business.
Zero pull, Lol.
