Had the salesperson never said that he would have it by the weekend it wouldn't be so bad. I would have never even questioned anything. I know there is nothing that can be done. It's just sucks!
When mine arrived on the transport (7am), the GM and New Car manager didn't even know there was a shipment on the way. So it's very hard for them to pinpoint exact timing. I'm surprised your salesperson even committed to when it would arrive. Most, along with my dealer, are telling folks that it will arrive..when it arrives. But it's a nice surprise when you open your email in the morning to a note from the GM with pics of your newly arrived pony!!
Was going to order a '24 Bronco but after my 21 month wait for my '21 Bronco, (that tuned into a '22), will not be going through that Ford nonsense again. I will just go from dealership to dealership till I can find something I like.
My salesman & the dealership said my Bronco was on the train & expected to arrive 08/12/23. Early morning on 08/11 my salesman called & said my Bronco "did not make the train" was still in Fords let & has no idea when it will be transported. I called Marketing HQ & Customer service & they had zero idea what was going on or why. The owner of the dealership called Ford to change my status to "HOT" but Ford refused their request as my salesman has told me. Good times
Still waiting! Pushed the deliver date out again. Now it's between 9/23 - 10/6..
