Congrats - it looks like you got all you wanted. As I'm reading your specifications, I look over and see that I have your Bronco on my desk (sans the color-matched top). Enjoy!

Michelle;

Are you expecting your Bronco to be built by Friday, January 16th 2026?

To be honest, I think that there might be some confusion here.
All I did was report what the email stated and reply to a question.

The last time I spec'ed a Ford was May 2000 and that was through a fleet guy who kept me in the loop down to calling with the rail car. If I could have located Cochise, I would have ordered through him since he was relatively local to mom's house.

Go back to your dealer and ask them what is the priority code for your order. These are priority codes given to an order by the dealer. 03-19-Retail. 20-80-Stock. The lower the number, the better.

We ordered from Granger, really got tired of the shenanigans with some local dealers and constantly hearing "I have to check with my manager".
Im priority 03 according to the printout. When that was previously mentioned, someone replied that priority is just unique to the dealership, not the production line.

One of the things i liked about the local place is that its small. I think their newest employee was hired 7-8 years ago. There looked to be fewer than a dozen people combined on the Ford/Dodge side. They also have the Chevy shop next door- never been over there.

As i indicated, this town has fewer than 10K residents. I can go to Dumas for another Ford shop or Amarillo if Iwant a 'big' one. I told them from jump what Granger could do and they got close enough to get the deal.

I've had one prior vehicle shipped and that was the F-Type. It was free to me, but the open trailer over the ~750 miles from Iowa on a fresh-off-the-train vehicle would still give me concerns. If, God forbid, there is an issue, I'd rather be able to address it before I have keys in hand. With the F-Type, I at least saw it prior to the shipping...

Ha, the wife found it online, probably Amazon. I have a Hot Wheels 2Dr as well. Just keep an eye out, you'll probably find them all over. Lego even has a 2Dr, but it's red.

Email says EXPECTED BY Friday, January 16.
This would surprise me as I ordered a 2026 back in October when it first opened up. And my build date is set for the week of january 19. Many people on similar forums who ordered in mid october have similar build day dates. They don't even start til after the holidays so how you would get a 2026 that early, in texas, is beyond me. I live in northern MI and am only 3.5 hours from the plant.

There is a lot to be said for buying your Bronco locally. Small town dealers, at least mine anyway, are a different breed. I know most of their names. I consider them my friends.
Edit: congratulations on the order, that's gonna be a sweet ride. 2 door for the win!

I much prefer a local dealer myself but I couldn't find my Bronco at any of them so I bought from a mega dealer in PHX (Peoria) and I have to say I was impressed with their efficency in the sales/delivery process. I'd still prefer sitting down with a local though.

Today's email advised that I've been scheduled and still says 'expected by Jan 16th'

I lucked out on my truck in 2000 and had it roughly a month after the order. Maybe I'm catching a break from karma or something...

Have they sent you the vin number? When I received my email with my scheduled production date they included my vin number and a link you could use with the vin number to check on your trucks progress.

Yeppurs...VIN was in there. Was surprised at how high it was for so early in the model year...its an A6xxxx and I had figured it would be lower just a month or so into the new model. The last six used to be unique to a model line but maybe that's changed. Either that or the are doing blow-out numbers...

I ordered dec 2 and have email with build week of feb 2. Surprised by only 2 month wait also. Guessing either they are front loading customer orders so dealers can clear 2025 lot inventory, or maybe economy is slowing orders. My order was 2-door also- maybe that is part of the reason?

Skipped SAS because I couldn't justify the cost compared to upgrading down the road, figuratively speaking. But, I knew starting with the stabilizer disconnect made sense. If I was going to do a lot of heavy off-roading off the bat, I would have leaned towards the extra bucks. Ill save some of that for retirement in a few years 😀
