Hornady has made a safe that absolutely and perfectly fits the rear cargo area of the two door Bronco.

It can be bolted into the vehicle using the cargo loop locations.

The vault has multiple entry options.
1. a standard vending machine key
2. a 4 - 6 digit combo
3. a RFID chip
b. electrical power comes from either. a 110v adapter or an internal bank. of AA batteries.

If your longer tools are 40 inches or less you can get three of them secured.

It can be M4, MP5 etc. There will also be room for any standard tool belt with equipment and a hole puncher.

I think Ford makes one like that for the 4 door. I have a friend with one that I think he got from Ford. It even says bronco on it. The Ford one has 4 tiedown loops on the top.

How hard is it to get to the jack under it?

There it is! Good find. But bummer, Just read it secures with a “1500 lb cable”. Thats kah kah. I gaurantee you the tensile strength of an average crackheads arms far surpass 1500 lbs. well at least in new york they do.

I do not plan to use the cable. It appears that you can slide it all the way to the rear seats and cock it slightly left.
This allows the door to open with out contacting the cargo door pin.
If you do this, you can drill holes corresponding with the cargo tied downs nearest the rear seats.
It you want it forward, you will needs a corner mod to the vault door, or remove some metal from the bottom of the Bronco door pin.

It seems this discussion suspiciously and abruptly ended. In the off chance I'm wrong here is the conclusion.
To make it work you will get two bolts, maybe three of the rear bolts to lock it into the truck.

For further concealment I cut up a Ford Maverick bed liner, and now "there's nothing to see here." Plus it's really easy to remove if I need to stuff someone in the rear seats.
