I am trying to order a skid plate for my 2023 2.7 Wildtrak, and the dealership is telling me this wont fit, and that the transfer case skid plate for a 2.8 does not exist. I'm trying to verify what I'm ordering will fit.

I got the part numbers from this thread. It's an older post.

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...alled-on-base-bronco-with-part-numbers.81499/

Part numbers are

MB3Z-7E063-A Skid plate

W717461-S439 Skid Plate U-nut (4)

W717376-S439B Frond Shield Bolt (4)

Thanks for your help

EDIT I think I answered my question. I was apparently working with the wrong dealership. Props to the guy for trying to keep me from ordering the wrong part. He was clueless though.

2.8? Why you looking at oem T plate? It barely covers stuff. Way other manufactures have better. I like my talons garage plate for that.

It’s probably a 2.7 not a 2.8 😬

Depends on his use case. The OEM part weighs alot less, costs alot less, and does a job for those who never adventure beyond "moderate" trails and/or are not technical rock crawlers. "Better" is a relative term...

It's a cheap option, and will suit my needs.
