No one cares when you ordered.

Your reservation date is all that matters, that’s why I kept asking for it.

“As soon as it was announced” isn’t enough information.

If you reserved within the first few hours of the reveal, you have a good shot at receiving a MY21, *if* you have your dealer remove the dual top and do the hard top only. If you don’t change your order you are guaranteed a MY22.

If you reserved the following day after the reveal, you may be on the cusp of a MY22 (meaning december/January delivery).

Again, if you share your exact build, we could give better info.
How many times and ways can he avoid answering a simple question? I am amazed.

That, coupled with the weird info supposedly from Ford, and the very conspicuous way in which the OP doesn’t seem annoyed we haven’t addressed their original question, makes it look more and more like a troll post.

@ZackDanger

You’re so much nicer and patient than I.

I just remind myself that patient quality answers make this forum a more pleasant and useful place for next new forum member who will come here looking for an answer to their question.

Love that you're trying to be helpful even though to me it seems like OP could have done a bit more research reading through the threads. I will admit that searching can be a bit cumbersome...

Thank you all for the help. Some more than others. I did not know that when I placed my original reservation with Ford it determined Your position. I did place an order with a dealer. Now i am a little unsure of things their. Being I have a 2022 Bronco order, due to the fact dual tops, I am ok with the timeframe. I am just not ok with dealer and allocation. Thnx again to all

You have a nice and early reservation, which means, as we understand things, will put you at the front of the line once MY22 production starts.... So, even though you'll be waiting for MY22 production to begin, you'll likely not have to wait much or any all past that.

Caveat is always going to be all the other things that could impact delivery.

I know this situation has been resolved, but ...
Is 4 door hard top supply issues a thing right now? Not sure what is making me think that.
Dual top is a 4 door thing correct? Therefore, if he had wanted it right away, wouldn't the best bet be a soft top (instead of MIC) on a 4dr?

Hard top (MIC) isn’t an established supply issue, but it seems like it could be judging by what’s been driving around at the events.… but even then, a lot of the soft tops we’ve seen have been the Bestop accessory Fastback.

You’re probably right, in that if he wanted to expedite his delivery as much as possible, a soft top might be the way to go… but if he ultimately wanted a dual top anyway, he’d be smarter to get the MIC from the factory (for hookup and price reasons) and then grab the soft top later on after delivery.

At least that’s where I land on that type of dilemma.

I'd agree... the wiper & defrost hook ups will be in place if ordered with the MIC.
