Non squatch bronco check in!

So Broncos have been on the road since 2021, as far as off-roading, how’s everyone with a non-squatch model enjoying their Bronco? Any regrets on not going all the way?

With my Big Bend finally scheduled I’m already day dreaming of trips to Sedona, White rim road, and Big Bend. But also wishing I had gotten a Sasquatch I wish there were more off-road reviews of lower tier models out there, I didn’t see many on my search.

Learn to drive it! Range Rover used to have some instructional videos on how to drive off road, and how and when to use 4H, 4L, etc. look those up and go practice!

When I was in my 20’s I bought a FJ40 from a old guy and he actually taught me how to drive it off road. I just needed to supply the cigarettes!

It didn’t have locking diff’s but I managed to take that places and never really into any trouble but sure did pull out a lot me friends!

But SAS looks so good but yeah smarter choice living in Los Angeles and it’s gonna be my daily. But also lots of places to off road just short drives away . I’ll definitely look up those videos

I have been on the trails with non SQ Broncos quite a lot (I have a non SQ 4dr Badlands). The rear locker is really the most important option IMO. Most models can accept a 285/70/17 with minor mods. Those tires and a rear locker make any model capable of quite a high level of difficulty trail wise. Big ruts and rocks, bigger is better and the front locker can play more of a role, but the GOAT modes do a decent job in some pretty tough conditions to make up for it if your aren’t equipped. Your risk taking, experience, skill and capacity for trail damage will probably be a bigger limiting factor than the vehicle at that point.

After your big bend tires wear out put a set of Baja Boss 255/85R17 on it!
