Power seats without memory function: no thanks, I'd rather have manual in that case. Two drivers in this household. Just got rid of a car (Toyota) with power seats and no memory. We hated it.

I’m surprised so many of you are anti power seats, even in a 2DR/Coupe
Yes, I’ll likely be the main person driving this truck, so set it and forget it, but every now and then on longer rides, I like to switch my position, which to me is easier with power seats. Obviously not a deal killer, I’m just surprised it’s not even an option.

There is no way to raise the seat on any of the 2-door models. This guy cannot see over the dash or anything in front of the truck. This is the setup for a $60,000 rock crawler?!
That guy pictured is 5-10, the guy who was actually driving was well over 6 foot. This guy did not want to mess with tall guys seat adjustments, per admin(Doug) when this picture was originally revealed.

So where does it say which models have pier seats standard or optional? I believe I saw BD 4door was manual, but don’t recall seeing option to upgrade.

The configurator will be available in August.
From what I have read/seen in 1001 YouTube videos, the First Edition will be the only model with a 10 way power seat option, every other model is manual only (only Ford changes this pre-production).

If I get to make a guess like everyone else, then I'd say 4-door cars have an escape for the passenger that doesn't involve moving the drivers seat in case of power loss (wreck).

I still see it as a potential safety issue for the 2-door with possible power loss and rescue.
If it's available, I might get it as a driver setup between memory setting for the wife and myself. Otherwise, nah...
Power seats are indispensable for changing your driving position while driving. Manual seats are unbeatable in their speed.
Price being equal I think I'd have to go for power. Easier to fine tune, don't have to worry about inclines or declines, can adjust on the go. I change my seating position all the time, from camping in the back (seat needs to be full forward, tilt and slide), cleaning the car out (I try to after every adventure), looking for lost items. It does certainly takes more patience to do the power seats (comparing to the passenger seat, which is manual).
If there is a high additional cost for power I'd probably go manual.
