Looks like you either turn the knob to raise it up or push down on the lever behind it to pump up/down. That’s how most analog seats work in 2drs.

Yeah, power isn't needed to raise and lower the seats. Shouldn't be a problem.

Here’s how the Mustang‘s manual seat works. Yes, you can raise an lower it.

I am curious whether the 10-way power seat would have more or less travel than the 6 way manual.

I WAS looking forward to a 2020 Tacoma's new power seats because I struggled getting the right position for steering/clutching with the manual seat in my 2010 Tacoma (which wouldn't raise or tilt).

Being as the Bronco has similar dimensions to the Tacoma, I was thinking I needed the power seat, but may not if the manual 6-way can raise and tilt a decent amount as well.

I prefer power seats but I don't care if the 2door doesn't have them.
I probably adjust it once when I get in the first time and never touch it again, well unless something fell in between the seats I have to fish out or someone has to sit in the back... I don't think it happens very often so..

Mustang owner here, and I hope the 2 door seats are manual. Pushing the button and watching the seat slowly go forward so someone can get in the back is brutal. Previous car was 2 door explorer that had the lift bar under the seat, way faster, and less to break!

realistically, how often do you guys adjust your seats? and when you do, how long does it take to get it back to how it was? I don't understand why power seats are such a big deal to some lol.

If you're buying the 2 door, chances are you don't have a family, otherwise you would opt for the 4 door. If you're bringing friends on adventures, how often are you seriously doing that? crawling, you're probably going as a crew where others are driving their own cars to crawl as well.

On the mustang there is a mechanical release on the seat back for the rear passenger to lean it forward. It does not slide the seat forward. If Ford can figure how to do that again, plus sliding the seat forward, all while returning it to the original position when pushed back, I think the power seats are irrelevant in the 2 door.

There is no way to raise the seat on any of the 2-door models. This guy cannot see over the dash or anything in front of the truck. This is the setup for a $60,000 rock crawler?!

You can clearly see 4 adjustments there:

1) Forward/backward bar under the front of the seat
2) Lumbar knob (round thing at the front of the side of the seat)
3) Back seat adjustment pull lever - immediately right of the lumbar knob
4) Height adjustment - Larger pull lever (that pulls and pushes down) near the pivot point of the back/bottom

Have memory power seats been verified?
I unfortunately haven't seen anything about memory seats.
