Sounds like some ARM tomfoolery. Bet a windows update or something snuck in.

The OBDlink MX can switch speeds just fine, I’ve used it before, and the OP says I it was working

Yeah, I have rebooted my laptop, switch Windows versions in CrossOver and rebooted CrossOver.

I wonder if it could be an issue with the activation key from ForScan since I had to reactivate and redownload it.

Might want to check that. Seeing as how it’s not working…
Well it already worked once for the OP, so only makes sense that it doesn't have anything to do with switching between MS/HS

I'll see if I can find someone local that has one like that. It makes sense due to it not reading anything past the PCM.

Does anyone know how to change that manually on my laptop? Is it possible to switch it to read the modules and not the PCM?

Possible but I doubt it - seems like when my key expired it still showed everything but if you clicked on certain functions it would pop up saying “Full Version Only”

I think if I were you I’d try the adapter on a x86 Windows PC (borrow a friends laptop, drag a desktop into the garage, something)

Could also try parallels or fusion instead of crossover - may make a difference

I use that same adapter and it works fine - just ARM vs x86 non-crossover

Have you tried a different USB port on the computer? The one I normally used started having intermittent connection issues, and when that started I was getting missing modules on the initial connection. Switched to a different port and all showed up again.

Well I run an EX and had an issue that I posted in here changing a setting in Forscan to fix it. I don't know if it was something with the Procal Update, but something changed.

Hm, do you remember what ForScan setting you changed?
