  1. Overlanding Bluetti EB55 Battery Mount / Custom Shelf

Your concerns are mine too. The slotted L brackets are 8 gauge 201 stainless steel. The velcro straps are heavy duty. It's amazing how strong they are. There's rubber foam between the battery and glass. I'm adding another velcro strap in the other plane. This is much stronger than any molle...
  2. Overlanding Bluetti EB55 Battery Mount / Custom Shelf

I used to wedge mine anywhere too but I like the floor space, knowing it's secure and always ready to charge something. There is always something to charge these days. I love the XG Cargo bags too. There so much stuff in them!
  3. Overlanding Bluetti EB55 Battery Mount / Custom Shelf

I have rubber washers to keep it from vibrating and the straps keep it firmly in place. It's very secure. I had issues trickle charging with my first cable but updated to a better fitting 12v and have had no issues since.
  4. Overlanding Bluetti EB55 Battery Mount / Custom Shelf

After 2 years of design and testing I believe I have perfected the design. Materials used include: 1/2 thick HDPE Plastic sheet, velcro straps, stainless stain slotted L brackets, M8x40 bolts, washers, 1/4 20 studs, two 3/8 thick spacers and adhesive rubber seals to keep it from scratching the...
  5. RESOLVED - My 2022 OBX Non-Sas Bronco Suspension has been creaking like crazy... it's embarrassing

Final fix here was to remove the front body mount bolt and thoroughly clean with break cleaner. It was packed with mud and water. Warning: If doing this be sure to only use hand tools. An impact might break the captive nut welded to the frame.

  7. RESOLVED - Front Driver-Side Creak on Articulation Getting Worse — Dealer Says Everything Looks Fine.. it's not.

The dealership said the bolt was torqued correctly. I took it to another dealer and they said the same thing!
  8. RESOLVED - Front Driver-Side Creak on Articulation Getting Worse — Dealer Says Everything Looks Fine.. it's not.

Hey Guys, I was able to fix the issue. It was the front most body mount. I just sprayed some WD-40 Silicone into the top through the engine bay and bottom via the wheel arch. It went away after a few days as the WD-40 penetrated.
  9. RESOLVED - Front Driver-Side Creak on Articulation Getting Worse — Dealer Says Everything Looks Fine.. it's not.

Update. It's metal on metal contact on the front most body mount. I have an appointment at the body shop on Monday. Fingers crossed! Thank you, Everyone!
  10. RESOLVED - Front Driver-Side Creak on Articulation Getting Worse — Dealer Says Everything Looks Fine.. it's not.

I’ve had a creaking noise from the front driver’s side for about 6 months, and it has been steadily getting worse. I’ve already tried: washing and cleaning the area WD-40 silicone spray I took it to the dealership, and they said everything looks fine, but the creaking is still pretty bad...

I made a video after taking it to the shop. They said nothing was wrong..
  12. RESOLVED - My 2022 OBX Non-Sas Bronco Suspension has been creaking like crazy... it's embarrassing

Thank you all for your help! My Bronco was in an accident and work was done on that side. Two dealerships have checked during regular service and they said everything is torqued correctly. Not sure if they know to check for a twisted link. The creak started a year after the repair work. Below...

What do you mean by twisted? I’m not an expert here haha
  14. RESOLVED - My 2022 OBX Non-Sas Bronco Suspension has been creaking like crazy... it's embarrassing

It's been creaking from the front drivers side for about 6 months and steadily getting worse. I have tried washing, cleaning, WD-40 and Silicone sprays. The dealership said everything looks good but it's still creaking pretty bad. It's loud enough, I can't tell exactly where it's coming from. I...
  15. Power Station Shelf using factory mounting points in cargo area

I tried my best to mitigate that risk with the heavy duty velcro straps and bolting it to the hardtop mounts. It's very well restrained. I do believe this is safer than just having the battery laying on the floor with the seats down. In that case it's a free moving object.
  16. Power Station Shelf using factory mounting points in cargo area

I use the EB55 just about everyday to charge devices and having it on the floor drove me crazy. That space was otherwise empty so I thought why not put it there. Having mounted up there also makes packing and plugging stuff in so much easier.
  17. Power Station Shelf using factory mounting points in cargo area

After an entire summer of testing I believe I have perfected the design. Materials used include: 1/2 thick HDPE Plastic sheet, velcro straps, adhesive felt sheet, M8x40 bolts, washers, 1/4 20 ball mount, 1/4 20 tripod extension, 30mm rubber ball, 1/4 20 studs, two 3/8 thick spacers and adhesive...
  18. No Modules showing in ForScan

Hm, do you remember what ForScan setting you changed?
  19. No Modules showing in ForScan

I'll see if I can find someone local that has one like that. It makes sense due to it not reading anything past the PCM. Does anyone know how to change that manually on my laptop? Is it possible to switch it to read the modules and not the PCM?
