No audio from bronco

I have a 2022 wildtrak. After I installed some powered steps I was connecting power to the battery and have now lost audio from my head unit. I have pulled the ACM fuse, it looks good, and just disconnected the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes and reinstalled, still same issue. Also everything else is normal, driving fine, apple CarPlay loads, and looks like it’s working but no audio. I also did a hard reset on the display. I do have a kicker key installed, could this have gone bad? How would I know if it failed? Anything else I should check or do beyond what I’ve done? TIA

This, and make sure you didn’t accidentally unhook your Kicker from the battery and forget to hook it back up.

I can’t believe I didn’t think to look at the amp first. I was thinking something more catastrophic. I took a look at the amp, disconnected and reconnected, everything is fixed. So glad I didn’t blow up my car by installing powered steps. Thanks everyone for your help.
