So I just got an email from Keystone RV about a new line of off road trailers they've developed. It's too big for us at 7000 lbs but maybe they'll come up with smaller rigs. Man!!!! This thing is frigging nice but it ain't cheap at $60,000.00 US starting price!!! If any of you do off the grid camping and have something to tow it, this might be your new RV. What a nice rig!!!!

Too bad they just have a bunch of marketing/Instagram crap on the page and no actual, tangible specs, not even a floorplan. It may be perfect for myself and the spousal unit to replace our current POS Forrest River travel trailer that's been falling apart since we drug it off the lot.

Wow, talk about “glamping”! She sure is pretty (and BIG). Might be just a tad over tow capacity for my Bronco.

I prefer, what I have called, “Primitive Glamping”. Which brings the luxury while keeping it minimal.

There is a 10 minute walk around video here.

Right, and that dude with arms folded staring off at....something.

The least they could have done is given us Sydney Sweeney washing her jeans in the trailer...

That looks WAY too heavy for a Bronco to safely tow...
Hell, my Jayco 174BHW is pretty much the max 3500 when loaded, which is my I'm upgrading my brakes and suspension.

It is too heavy for us at 7000 lbs. But maybe if they have some success with them, smaller versions will become available.

What family bunkhouses would you recommend? We are already thinking about upgrading from a single axle BH, to a tandem BH under 30ft overall.
There are quite literally dozens to choose from. Pretty much take your pick.

I was wondering if maybe I missed a spec where they had some new material that reduced the weight haha - 👍

I thought there was a somewhat comprehensive thread about Bronco rated camper trailers here somewhere.
I need to find it as well.
But with tandems, almost all of them will be solidly beyond what a Bronco is rated to tow.

Seems like the RV sub-reddit over at Reddit has a lot of info on what brands churn out quality campers, and which ones do not.
The common themes will be, quality will cost you, and quality campers don't show up as used units nearly as often as the lesser ones.

DOORS! I have not seen these before. Are these aftermarket? They look SWEET!

Update: I do remember Donut/Halo doors from the early specs but didn't realize they became available at some point. They look amazing. I am sure they are not cheap. Are they worth it?

The first concept Broncos from Ford had these doors. In fact, halo doors are the reason I own a Bronco today. Soon as I saw those very first ad's for the 2Dr Cyber Orange Bronco with Halo doors I knew I just had to have one!!

Imagine my disappointment when I learned the lawyers refused to let Ford actually sell these doors to the public (no side impact protection). So I found these from a company called Anderson Composites. You gotta add your own hardware and paint them to match your vehicle. So "yes", they are not cheap LOL. But they helped me make my Bronco fantasy come true.

(side note: my original order was for that fantasy CO Bronco I first saw, but during the LOONNNG wait to have mine built, Ford discontinued the color. So I was forced to switch to HPR)

To answer the last question, "are they worth it?" - they would probably be worth it more for those who live in a more temperate climate than I do. I absolutely LOVE them but here in Montana I only get to actually use them about 3mos out of the year. Rest of the time they are in storage bags in my shop because I put the factory doors back on for winter. So I don't think I'm really getting enough usage for what they cost to make them well worth it to me. Now, somebody in AZ or S. CA could probably run them year round.

But for those 3mos a year - ya they do turn a lot of heads and get a lot of comments and questions. And, of course, except for the color - I'm living my Bronco fantasy. So I have no regrets.
