NEW 37x12.50 Falken Wildpeak R/T01 Tires Installed - True 37's!

Swapped out the rubber on my Raptor for some more true-to-size 37's! I had seen these somewhere and thought, "it's always cool to have new things that just came out".

So here I am. I didn't want to run all out mud terrains and definitely wanted something more aggressive than the stock BFG's.

I'll be putting on several hundred mile this weekend for a mini vacation to the beach and I'll be in Moab at the end of the month. Should be able to get some good observations!

I actually just wrote a brief summary of my experience with them in 35s in another thread.

So far I have put about 1700 miles on them and they have been amazing. Balancing was perfect on the first try and no issues with getting mounted. One observation, they are a slightly larger 315/70 than the Toyo RT equivalent. On road they feel smoother than the Toyos with tire noise about the same, I also don't feel much of the additional 7 pounds in weight. Off road they have handled everything I've thrown at them very well. I had no issues during my trip in Death Valley ranging from minor rock crawling to hauling ass on desert roads. The one thing I did notice is they do throw rocks slightly more than the Toyos did. As a result, I do have a couple harsh chips on the lower part of my doors. Going forward I will probably apply PPF to the lower area of the doors. The only two areas I haven't been able to test are on rain and snowy surfaces, but I'm sure they'll do fine. All in all, I think these may be my new favorite tire even if they are on the heavier side for a D load 35.

Those look awesome! I like how agressive the sidewall is. They look even better than the Ridge Grappler that I put on mine.

Nice looking tire for sure. The last 2 sets of tires on my wife's car are Falkens. How did they balance? And what is the road noise like? And what rating are they? Thanks

.....according to Falken Tire's size chart they are no differenent than any other "37" ...........36.5

Nitto Trail Grapplers gets a bit closer at 36.85.

But if you want a tire that measures 37" tall then you need to go to a 38. Then you will get a +37" tire.

Just got my RTT on and I barely fit in my garage.
Got stuck in a parking garage I always used to go to pre-RTT.
This picture makes me want 37s now, and these Falkens look great. Wondering what I want more...

I couldn't find the specs on falkens site but two other sources say 36.8 and I just went out and tried to measure but couldnt really get accurate with my shoddy tools. They do appear taller by the eyeballing them too though. The tread on KO2s is pretty rounded. These are more square if that makes sense.
