Dealing directly with the manufacturer will be far worse. The arrogance by some of these "sales" people is eye opening. I for one wont miss it when the dealership model goes away.
Where did you get the information there are no ADM fees in Canada? ADM's are a reality on everything out there, even in Canada. You've got to find yourself a dealer that will sell to you at MSRP. If you've found one of those, consider yourself fortunate. The only "freebie" I received on the Bronco in Canada purchased at MSRP was the $500 in FordPass points towards accessories because of the 16 month wait I had to endure. When I was shopping for a GT350 a few years ago, a $10k ADM was a bargain at dealers in the GTA.Were you able to add free stuff to your bronco order ? Mine is at MSRP (Canada you can't do ADM like in USA for order). I'm wondering if I buy heated seat and floor carpeting plus winter tire... can I get floor carpet for free ?
I'm usually good at this but atm I don't really have any lever on the dealer... it's not like I could pretend I'll buy it somewhere else if he doesn't give me anything.
My dealer didn't know what I was talking about...Program is completely optional on the dealers part. The good thing about the program is the dealer has to submit receipts to claim it, so they in theory can't just pocket the $1,000 themselves.
...You're saying that gas is free...how about those fees at the end.. DOC fee... this fee.. that fee ..we aren't getting much free from a dealer..Lol buddy I’m a non commission based associate. I get paid $250 for new or used. I’m not getting rich by any means. I wish I was at a different dealership then I would of made a lot more money off these vehicles. I’ll sell you at invoice if I can it doesn’t affect me, what does get old is constantly asking for free stuff after you placed an order. With everything you wanted. You’ve had time to order additional accessories… now the time is here and you want free stuff? I’m assuming the tank of gas the dealership is giving you wont be enough either?
Are you talking about the state required fees? Lol and you’re saying the dealership shouldn’t make a profit for providing a service for getting your bronco?...You're saying that gas is free...how about those fees at the end.. DOC fee... this fee.. that fee ..we aren't getting much free from a dealer..
Lol okay… what you don’t realize is there will always be dealers… only difference is gonna be less inventory. Still selling because people order now, and guess what the customer doesn’t flinch at paying window sticker because they control the build. Which also means ford realizes they make more of a profit on that than when theirs mass inventory/options so negotiating and buying below window use to be a thing.. lol but enjoy getting that bronco from your local dealerThe arrogance by some of these "sales" people is eye opening. I for one wont miss it when the dealership model goes away. The same guys acting like theyre doing you a favor today will be calling and begging in a year when rates go up. What people dont realize is that things change quickly and the whole "support local dealers" and "buy American" ads werent that long ago. For folks who get worked up over surveys, youd think theyd have an ounce of humility rather than bashing someone trying to save a few bucks. As if the dealers dont haggle over $5 a month. Just remember, times arent always good. The person you turn away today might go buy a Toyotya and never look back.
...I doubt if a 600.00 doc fee is a state required fee...the MV fees are state required...and I think I have change coming back...and it's been 3 months now...if they want to keep my few dollars..they can have it..Are you talking about the state required fees? Lol and you’re saying the dealership shouldn’t make a profit for providing a service for getting your bronco?
Okay so how does this pertain to this thread of negotiating free stuff??...I doubt if a 600.00 doc fee is a state required fee...the MV fees are state required...and I think I have change coming back...and it's been 3 months now...if they want to keep my few dollars..they can have it..
