Need to replace one tire, any options?

If it were me, .....

...., or putting the new tire as the spare and doing 4-tire rotation until the next set of tires.

That was my solution at 25K when I ripped a sidewall. Except I bought 5 (got a very good price on new KO2s). Put on on as a spare, drove the others down to 4/32 (at 53K), then replaced them with the 4 new KO2s I kept in my basement.

If you want to be semi-scientific about it... mark with a piece of chalk the new tire and the old tire on the front. Mark them in the same place (like pointing down). Same air-pressure in both. Run the tires for some known distance... like 200 yards. If the chalk marks are now in a little different position...

Let 1 pounds of air out of the new tire. Run the test again. Will the chalk marks end up being closer to the same?

Bottom line... the diameter of the tire willl vary based on air-pressure. If you let some out of the new tire... the diameter will more closely approximate the older tire.

I don't know if all of this is really necessary, but as long as you stay within about 1.5-2.0 pounds of air pressure... your TPMS shouldn't even care (I think).

And then again... if you aren't running your eLocker on dry pavement... will the Bronco even care?

Bronco are off road vehicles designed to have different wheels turning at different speeds with different traction levels pretty sure it's not a big deal....,maybe on a hard drive Audi RS5 with tires 30% worn at 12K miles it's worth getting new ones or two new at least.

37" inch isn't as common so this suggestion might not work but...

Check used tire shops in your area or FB Marketplace/Craigslist, heck even junk yards. I never knew there was a used tire market but there is and it's thriving. Depending on how badly you want to save money you might be able to find a used one even at the same wear level as the one you are replacing.
