I just picked up a new 2025 4 Door Big Bend which did not come with roof bags for the hard top. After doing a little research, I am more confused on what bags do what. I just am looking for front and middle section bags to safely and securely store in the truck when I have them off. I don't want to store them away from the vehicle. However, when i looked on the Ford accessory site, it says the Cover King are for garage storage in the description. Not sure if that is correct or not.

Can anyone clarify that? Ideally, I just want something that I can store the panels securely behind the back seat. I am open to any aftermarket brands too. Any recommendations? Newish to this site and all the information is....a bit overwhelming so sorry if I am asking a question a million others have asked. Thanks!

Yes, Cover King is the garage bag. The OEM style on-vehicle bags hold the 2 front panels in a single bag. The panels stack liner side to liner side inside the bag with a divider layer between them. They have proven to be very hard to come by. Took me 6 months to find one after buying my Bronco last year so there was clearly a production issue.

There is a part number for the front panels bag (4DR) and link to where I found it in my post below. That should get you started in your search. My post is in a thread for a vendor’s aftermarket equivalent, but I can’t vouch for the quality of that version. I bought the Ford one.

EDIT: there is no on-vehicle storage option for the mid panel (over rear seats) because it’s too wide to fit in the vehicle. All Ford offered was a front panels bag plus a bag for each door if you wanted to carry those too. You don’t need the separate harness for just the front panels bag, it has all the attachment equipment you need. The harness is only if you’re carrying multiple bags in back, meaning door bags too.

Interesting! Thanks. It looks like I will get the front panel bag on board and mid panel storage bag for home.

These are the things if it isn't included, you don't necessarily think about until AFTER you purchase the vehicle.

My Bronco, 2023, came with a front panel storage bag. I guess Ford no longer includes it.
