There are merits to the criticism and the praise.

My Bronco was delivered with a plastic skid even though I ordered the HD mod bumper. The weather stripping on the interior at the top of the A pillar is inconsistent looking from side to side (no leaking though). And, the driver side window has developed the rattle when it closes due to the frameless window/adjustment mechanism. I picked it up a couple weeks ago with 10 miles on it.

But also, this is the funnest vehicle I’ve ever owned. And the criticism about build quality (in spite of what I mentioned above) is largely unwarranted in my opinion. I was expecting a complete trash interior but it’s actually pretty solid and nice. And it drives (even with a pretty heavy set of 33” M/T tires) very well.

You’re only a week away. Once you have your Bronco, you’ll be able to move past hanging your hopes (and fears) on every last post in this forum. I am thankful this forum exists but I’m also happy to have my bronco and be able to ignore all the content about order delays, etc. and just drive and experience my Bronco.

We love ours but have a long Bronco history dating back to 1984 when I bought our first EB.

And yes, we'd still be waiting as we didn't need it, once it came in we sold a car that was perfectly fine.

It must be worth the wait as my two daughters have taken mine over, lol. I’ve had zero issues in 17k miles other than the windshield recall and a small collision with a deer.

My 2nd Bronco with the options I actually want like Sasquatch and MIC top will get delivered in the next week and I’m excited to have one that’s not always parked at my daughters high school or wherever else she takes it. :)

7/20/20 reservation. Eruption Green/OBX/MIC/Sasquatch/2.7L/HD Modular/Lux/hoop steps

If I say that I love the black wire coming off the battery, does that make my comment negative or positive? ;)

I'd say it was worth the wait, but I only waited 11 months. I didn't even like the Bronco until I test drove one, then I ordered. Driving a '19 JLUR, I didn't really need a new vehicle, so I entered my order, and was really into it for a month or two, then I kind of forgot about it for 9 months until I got the call / e-mail that it was scheduled for production in October. Then I started getting excited again.

Anything that drives such emotion whether It’s the purchase or the drive is going to be more prone to emotional responses. That’s why so many will complain and gripe but will wait it out. No other vehicle, at this time, has generated so much emotion. That’s why you don’t buy a Toyota.

Its worth it if it will be your other toy.
Not the best daily but its fun to drive around.
Car is still hot, people will wave at you and give you thumbs up.

If you badly need a car, don't wait for it.
If you are certain it will take another year or two, don't wait for it or at least make other plans.

Personally I think the hotness and enthusiasm will eventually fade.
I would start to place bets (reservations) on the incoming electric alternatives while waiting.
Whichever comes first and decide from there. Assuming you don't need a car in a hurry that is...

I wish it could be a toy, I'd have 2. As it is it's a pretty damn nice daily driver. It's not perfect, and I don't expect it to be, but so far I'm still loving it.

Thanks Jeep guy. Not interested in a Fiat. Thanks for your input/fiat honking. Carry on...

Mine has been great, but then again I knew what I was buying. It is not a luxury vehicle, first edition does not make it any different, just more collectable once I've been long dead. Aside from the light switch gremlin, I have had no issues.
Only a Jeep guy now because Ford.

Ford’s piss poor handling of the Bronco is why I’m a Jeep guy… after being a Ford guy for decades. It wasn’t Jeep that turned me to Jeep, it was Ford.

If your expectations are realistic, it's great and worth it. If you are expecting a quiet, cushy, effortless road tripper, or it to compare with a Lexus GX460, you are going to be sorely disappointed. We are happy with ours.

I waited 14 months from order to delivery. I love my Bronco. 1500 miles in and zero complaints. Of course you have to go into a vehicle like this with realistic expectations. It's not a luxury car. It's a bad-ass off-road truck you can comfortably drive on the road. I get excited every time I drive it. I can't wait for warmer weather to remove the top!

If you’ve ever taken any Psych classes, you may recall it’s called “effort justification” (which is a manifestation of more general idea called ”cognitive dissonance“). Like hazing. The more pain you have to endure to gain something, the more your brain rationalizes that “it must be worth it”.

Reminded of a study done on how people would rate a horse before placing their bet vs. after placing their bet. It found that, overwhelmingly, people rated their selection higher after placing the bet. On a scale of 1-5, pre-bet ratings of a horse were based on it’s breeding, run times, etc. And tended to be much lower than after money was laid down on a bet. Once you’re financially vested in that horse - he’s just gotta be a 4 or a 5!

So - even though I know why… I’m still super excited about my bet on ”$60K on Bronco to show”. :D

6 months and 4k miles and no complaints, mine is pretty quiet with exception of tire noise. It drives great and has been amazing for MN winter driving so far. Waited exactly 2 years and I would do it again.

Yes, it is worth the wait. If my Bronco was totaled today I would order a MY24 Wildtrak as soon as order banks open, and then share my wife’s car until it was built.
