Glad you got it done ,Sorry you had to deal with people that don`t know how to do their job. No need to involve the sales dept. Also no need for the fobs or vehicle to cut keys. Yes for ID and regi and keys.Final update, with a positive ending!
Landed at the dealership this morning at 7am, handed over the vehicle, fobs, registration, and drivers license (apparently all needed to complete their forms).
Took just over an hour, vehicle returned with cut keys that work!
Service guy made the point several times that I should've gone through the sales department, as this was not a warranty item (which still boggles my mind). He also thinks the GM will want to know about the keys being blank upon delivery, so they can check the others. He (the service guy) personally had never seen or heard of this happening before.
Thanks to everyone here for your input and hopefully this thread will help the next person who encounters this odd situation of blank keys inside the fob upon delivery!
