Hey everyone,

New Bronco owner here and new to car audio. I think I bit off more than I could chew and that’s totally my fault.
But wanted to check on here to see if anyone had any solutions or advice.

I installed the plug n play Museway 6 channel amp and now it will light up for only a brief second when on I flip the auto on switch to SIG then it turns off. Have tried DC and nothing, off nothing.
Volume controls now do not work same with tune, car isn’t even giving me the option for sound so I’m thinking it probably isn’t even registering the speakers.

Oh and the extra wires in the picture were attached to the harness in case I ever decide to add a sub

Amp needs to be set to DC. Also, did you connect all the speaker wires as in the picture you have them in your hand and not connected to the amp ?

Amp is set to DC and those extra wires aren’t being used since it’s in case I decide to use an amp. I have it set to DC. I think the root of the problem is that the Headunit isn’t allowing me to play any music.

I am going to look in Forscan and see if there is a code. I’ve been told I should’ve connect loadresistors to this and that’s why the Headunit is refusing to play

Ok ran Forscan and these are the codes that are coming up:

U0184:00-0B

U1A00:87-08

U0184:00-0A

Any ideas on how to remedy?

U0184 is "IPC lost comms with ACM", U1A00:87 is also a CAN bus fault.

I'm taking it for granted you attempted to reset and it came back up.

Sure you got all the harnesses back installed correctly, or didn't pull something loose? Did you make your own pigtail harness to install the Musway or get one from a vendor?

My guess is either a harness didn't get clipped in all the way, forgot to plug something back in, or you clipped the wrong wire making a harness. Also could be a fuse, but I would think you'd see more codes.

I got it from Plugnplay. I’ll take the control module out and check double check and share pictures!

Thank you for helping me pinpoint it!

Ok got the control module out and to me it looks like everything is in the right place but I’ll unplug them and try again. This time I’ll test before buttoning everything back up haha

Entirely possible all those harneses are fine, but in juggling all that stuff around a different harness got pulled loose that you didn't directly touch.

I'd pull and reconnect everything on the ACM back there, inspect the harnesses and make sure the pins are fully seated and nothing got bent or pushed out.

Nothing in Forscan right now. Will try unplugging and plugging the amp connections back. It’s getting power so something is going to it. It’s just not sending the signal back?

Ok changed the outputs, now only the kick panel speakers are working. Not the ones in the dash or back in the pods. Any ideas what could be off there? Attaching amp settings, I upgraded to 6.5 KS with new pods. Plus front are 4inch KS Checking the wiring of those right now too.

the only two outputs that are working are the ones where I put the wire in raw without a ferrel. Thinking that could be the issue

Input level should be set to high not low . Input fo 5-6 should be from 1-2 . That amplifier has built in load resistance, but you’re not gonna get any sound until you connect all the speaker wires to the amplifier..

Changed that, played with the settings too while it was on and nothing. Changed them to that and restarted still nothing from those 4 speakers. Here are some more pictures of the amp in case I’m missing something. Do you think I should try stripping the wire and inserting like I did for channel 1-2?

Appreciate all the help! I know some of this might be basic for vets

Tried stripping the wire on channel 5 and still nothing. Let me know if there’s anything else I could be doing wrong!

Thanks again for all the help
