Hey y'all.
I need your advice. I am mounting an Arc270 driver side awning to my Trailrax on my '22 4dr Outer Banks. I've machined the Trailrax braces to fit the Roam M8 bolts. However, there's a decent gap between the brace and awning.
I've seen these as part of setups all over this and other forums. But I'm stumped on how to ensure that I mount this securely.
Do I need washers to make up the gap? Should I get longer bolts? I know dumb questions. But help would be appreciated.
First pic shows the the bolts may be to short. 2nd shows the gap.
Thoughts?
