Yes I have. Unfortunately, that area is already reserved for other storage. I am used to exploring with a Supercab Ranger with a 6ft bed. I must down size with the Bronco and rethink how I pack. Storage space is going to be at a premium for me now. I also don't want to have stuff hanging outside my vehicle.
Posted this elsewhere, but posting here to maybe give you a different idea. I just printed a bracket to mount to the roll bar, and mounted it up there, then ran to my aux batteries for when I need it. Keeps it inside and out of the dust and dirt, and plenty of ventilation around it to keep it cool

I have seen that before and think it is a great idea. I will be building lightweight shelves that will probably cover that area. I could still make it work but right now am leaning toward under the Bronco. Your option is still a possibility. I am waiting to get an Ursa Minor camper installed so I can start designing my shelf system. Thanks for the reminder.

Mine is tucked up next to the gas tank with no issues, it barely gets wet there and there is plenty of ventilation. Intakes routed to interior space under passenger floor, coupling hose run to an footthold in rear JCR bumper. Every couple of weeks I spray the road dirt off with a hose. Stiil, eventually I will move it to the DV8 floor cargo box I just bought for ease of access if there is any issue with it.

How did you mount it up there? What is the compressor bolted to?

Love the setup behind the spare.

What are you using for the switch? One of the Aux switches or are you using the ARB harness switch? If you are using the ARB switch, where did you mount that?

I ended up mounting my compressor in the standard place under the hood. I was afraid under the vehicle was too harsh an environment for it. Not just the dust, rocks and mud. I do deep water crossings sometimes. I found another place under the hood for the micron bypass filter. It was not an ideal location but I made it work.
