Phasers set to hideous, just like the Gladiator.

I saw exactly this driving by today. Couldn’t get a picture, though. It looked very nice. And with the new FP supercharger kit, you’d have quite the hot rod! (For an extra 12 grand…)Or just order this and add your own wheels, and paint the grille and bumpers. 5.0 with a 3.31 locker, about $38K…
So "just order" that with a stick, removable doors, and removable roof? That's what you're saying?Or just order this and add your own wheels, and paint the grille and bumpers. 5.0 with a 3.31 locker, about $38K…
My thoughts exactly. Seems like someone took a Gladiator, changed the creases on the sheet metal a bit and called it a dayCringe.
If this happens, I will dislike it just as much as I dislike the Gladiator.
My post was in response to the one directly above mine, in which someone was mentioning the original Ford Lightning pickups from the 90s.So "just order" that with a stick, removable doors, and removable roof? That's what you're saying?
That makes a LOT more sense now!My post was in response to the one directly above mine, in which someone was mentioning the original Ford Lightning pickups from the 90s.
So what?Ancient thread!
The only problem with this is.... Ford already has F-Series, Ranger, Ranger Raptor, and Maverick. Why would anyone expect them to try to launch a Bronco pick-up? It makes no sense. Especially now that the Bronco isn't even selling like it was at launch. For what it's worth, the HR manager where I work is a Bronco enthusiast, even has a Bronco scale model car on his desk in Area 51 that I used as a jump off point to introduce myself when he came here. He previously worked for FoMoCo in Michigan and I don't recall what he did for them, but he has told me that he is aware that a truck variant is supposed to come out at some point and he's surprised it wasn't shown a long time ago. And that's the extent of the conversation we have had on the truck.
I know, new guy, no avatar, etc. I saw this when I was browsing and thought I'd put this out there. Here's to hoping!
I'd mostly agree with this sentiment except trucks sell. Ford didn't need to come up with an Explorer Sport Trac- they did anyway. So there is precedent. Incidentally, I like the Sport Trac too.The only problem with this is.... Ford already has F-Series, Ranger, Ranger Raptor, and Maverick. Why would anyone expect them to try to launch a Bronco pick-up? It makes no sense. Especially now that the Bronco isn't even selling like it was at launch.
And yes as already stated, this "was" old news. All the leaks that came out before the Bronco launch, we'd be seeing those same spy photos today if anything were even remotely close.
