Went for service and was amazed to see the number on the lot. Almost everything was SAS. Plenty of '24 MY.

Herd of Broncos.jpg
Couldn’t find a SAS last summer and ended up getting lucky spamming auto trader until an off lease 2023 OB SAS popped up for $44k and less than 10k miles last year. Someone really did a one year lease!? I feel like they priced it wrong because the sticker was almost $60k 12 months before I purchased it! $60k and need speaker upgrades. 😳 the short supply prices will have to adjust eventually

Dealers must have too that old joke to heart.

"....Yeah... I know its expensive, but I only need to sell one $60,000 candy bar to have a good year!"

Yea sure thing, I have some ocean front property to sell you as well.

Zero two door manuals though.
If I'm sorting correctly, Cargurus is showing about 72 two-door manuals available across the country, out of about 21,500 total for sale. It's not the version most people are buying.

Has anybody you known actually claimed that the 2-door manual is the configuration "most people" are buying? I don't know anybody that says that.

The real issues here are that there are a sizable number of enthusiasts who want them, and that Ford would do well to provide for them, as well as honor the Bronco heritage.

If all we had available were the products "most people would buy" we'd be missing out on a lot, both short and long-term.

Besides, there are currently 346,821,178 people living in the United States as of Thursday, April 3, 2025. There are 72 Bronco two-door manuals available out of 21,500. These numbers should not leave anyone to believe that the fewest available (by far) are the ones nobody wants. It simply means that two-door manual is vanishing fast.

Just like dealers up here. Out of pure greed they spec out nearly all of them loaded with Sasquatch packages that eliminates a lot of possible buyers that don't want/need/can afford the 35" tires and upgraded suspension. The few that aren't optioned up sell quickly while the big ticket versions rot on the lot.
Yeah that's why I had to order a new truck to get what I want. I wanted an F350 (would take a 250 if I had to) Lariat, Tremor, Black package, with fifth wheel prep, 6.7 PSD. No Ultimate package, no sunroof, those a deal breakers for me. Within 500 miles there isn't a SINGLE truck built that way. I could even be negotiable on colors and a few other options but that's the minimum...and NOTHING is built to those specs. So I expect to see it in May.

Those sort of people who spend like drunken sailors probably won't care, they typically just got to have some material item, and cost doesn't much enter into the equation. The family members of those types though, lol. I've seen them getting ulcers, when one member of a couple has fiscal sense, and the other doesn't.

I thought most would be 4 door models. And most well loaded up. More loaded, more profit for dealers and Ford. I have always preferred base models for almost every vehicle I have ever owned. Base have always been hard to find. Manufacturers need to make more base vehicles- especially as prices continue to skyrocket. I did read somewhere that Ford was going to make more base F150's- XL or STX models- that are pretty well equipped. I looked a new F150 STX and loved it.

The comment I was replying to sounded surprised or disappointed that there weren't any two door MTs on that lot. I was just pointing out that there are almost none of them, anywhere, not just in that lot. And I'm a fan of the 2-door MT, I have one on order that I'm waiting for impatiently right now. There just aren't many buyers like me who want that specific combo. If lots were full of 2-door manuals, my life would be easier and I'd have one in my driveway already. I sure wish the availability was better.

I can't say I actually read every post in here, most likely just skimmed through them. But I'd like to add in, How about color options on lots? I see some dealers that are offering $12k discounts on '24 Badlands trims, and you can have ANY color you want, as long as it's WHITE, BLACK, or SILVER. Do a search on any of the car sites and you'll find very few options in something other than those colors (at least very few compared to those 3). And yes, not everyone wants a stripped BB, or a loaded OuterBanks/Badlands/Wildtrak. Problem is, dealers are only carrying what used to sell good for them and there isn't a lot to choose from unless you like the above listed options.

Honoring Bronco heritage would be 6 on the tree not floor! If I remember correctly ALL 1st gen Bronco manuals were 3 on the tree and 3spd auto on the floor.

Exactly! And can the same "that's what everybody wants to buy" excuse be used for the limited color (both interior and exterior) choices? There is something sneaky in play here...

Odd auto trader shows 3,472 new 2 door broncos ‘24-‘25 models and 128 if we’re just talking wildtrak
Mid ‘24 I started seeing a lot of 2 doors on the streets, that might be since early ‘24 the dealers around here got a lot of them.
Edit: my bad you were speaking of manuals only, I just noticed that.

Totally fine on that, if that's what it takes. Both my wife and I learned to drive with 3 on the tree manuals. They have character.

At one of my first jobs, the shop van had a three-on-the-tree that was incredibly sloppy and worn out. Shifting it took a few tries every time, just trying to find the right gear by feel.
