I got the Mobridge amp the other day and took some time today to install. The amp power wise, seems like a beast! So, I’ve loaded the base tune and it leaves a lot to be desired. Does anyone have a tune file you can send me? The software has me scratching my head a bit… I may be past my prime with this stuff. 😂

If it helps, I’m using the following equipment:

Dash L, C, and Right = JL Audio 4” C2 Coaxial Speakers

Front L and R Woofers = Focal Auditor 6.5” mid bass

Rear Speakers = JL Audio 6.5” C2 Speakers

Subwoofer = Stinger tailgate sub

Any help would be appreciated!!

I'm at exactly this same point right now. Still waiting on my kick panel speakers to be delivered, so I don't want to start bothering Fraser for a custom setup yet.

I've got a mic from my home theater, so I'm going to mess about with that a little after finally finishing installing the stinger this afternoon.

I’ve finally got everything but the sub sounding respectable. When you finish yours, I’d be open to trading tunes just so I can see if I’m remotely close to being as good as I used to be, at doing it by ear. I’m swapping out my kicks because the Focals are screaming for help with the 150 watts going to them. I’m looking at Hertz SPLs.

These look very promising. I may have to read up a bit more on them. I’m trying to narrow it down to three. The power the amp is kicking out is real. When I was reading up on the amp, I didn’t take it seriously.
I just got the sub wired up. All I have left to do is get the wires from the amp hooked up and then start messing with it. Oh, and put the sound deadener everywhere.

Very nice! I bought the SSV enclosure so I’m going to see how that goes. I’ll likely use the tailgate for other things. That enclosure made me curious, so I figured I’d give a shot! Deadener is a MUST in these things.

The progress has stopped there until I hear from mobridge. My wiring looks like NONE of the diagrams I can find online. So I'm waiting to hear if the recent kits have different wiring, or if I'm just an idiot and missing something.

In what way does your wiring and/or harnesses not look like the diagrams?

I’m curious too. There was only one channel that was off from the paperwork, but it was easy to figure out.

The diagrams had the sub channels as black/red and black+silver/red+silver. I heard back from Fraser last night, and apparently the latest production run of the wiring harnesses changed that to the sub channels being 2 sets of pink/pink+silver wires. (And that change has not made it to any of the documentation yet)

Fraser told me to just grab the wires from inside the factory enclosure.

I originally was going to grab the ones going to the green connector, but those wires are TINY for 400+w to a speaker. I'd rather take the larger gauge wires directly from the harness and not worry about it. At this point I've torn the entire back end out of the Bronco, what's an extra 5 min of soldering?

Gotcha. I definitely have black/red and black+silver/red+silver harness (I mean it has taken me 6 months to get around to installing it). I did notice that the diagram sent with mine & still show on their website is not 100% accurate either, even with the sub channels matching my harness.

Tuning is now on hold for a bit due to the fact that the amp I got from mobridge had a bad power supply. Fortunately, Fraser has been on the ball and is already sending out a replacement. So far, very happy with the customer service.
