I see that Ford is doing Bring Your Own Bronco (BYOB) events in Moab.
I am really interested in these, but I am concern about whether my Bronco will be good enough.
I have a 2024 2DR 7MT Badlands, with stock everything that actually matters. On the FAQ page, the BYOB implies heavily that you should have a SAS. Specifically, they say "if you don't have SAS or at least a 2" lift, then take off your running boards to avoid damage to your Bronco".
So, the questions are: has anyone done one of these events? Will I be able to comfortably do what they take you on, or will I be holding up the group and/or easily damaging my Bronco in trying to? What trail do they take you on?
I did the Moab Off-Roadeo last year, and they took us to, I think, "Half Dome". All the supplied Broncos were SAS of course, and they all did the whole thing without breaking a sweat. But, I really don't know enough to know just how breathing room those SAS had and if my Badlands, being just shy, will do fine or if it'll be a SNAFU.
Thanks for your input.
