The mannequin that Russ Milne Ford [Mich] has, a CO 4-Door manual badlands, has mini-mirrors in the uppper left corner of both side mirrors.

This was my first test drive, and I was pleasantly surprised, since I tow with my F-150 and love these. But NO other broncos I’ve seen have this. Is this an upgrade the dealer can help with?

These are for the units without BLIS (blind spot warning).
Man, I'm glad I accidentally got BLIS on mine then (which is permanently disabled). I was pleasantly surprised to find that my mirrors didn't have those annoying things in them. The only reason a car has a blind spot is if one does not have their mirrors adjusted properly.

Never noticed that before. Hopefully, it’s not hard to swap out the mirrors. I’m not a fan of the double mirror.

I read once that the proper way to adjust the mirrors is to actually have them very wide, so you can't see the side of your own vehicle, and, if done correctly, a car directly behind you that changes lanes will move seamlessly to the side mirror - if you can see the same car in more then one mirror, you're doing it wrong. I actually tried this for a while, and it does work but takes some getting used to. Not sure why I stopped.

As for the convex mirrors, I don't mind them in the Bronco because of the size of the mirror, but I HATED them in my Mustang because they took up 25% of the mirror, which I normally used for spotting cars and was used to checking my blind spot by looking over my shoulder.

i stand corrected. I truly did not realize the other packages deleted these. That’s, in my opinion, a bummer. I love those mirrors. Guess I’ll see the other mirrors in a few more
Weeks on our WT with High package.

Ok, this makes sense now. I guess since my Badlands has the high package (which I *think* includes BLIS), I won’t get them. Might have to upgrade afterwards.

Appreciate it all.

Quickest way to learn how to have your mirrors done right is to do a track day. Wearing a helmet and strapped in, there's no such thing as looking over your shoulder for cars. One has to be able to get a full picture of everything at a glance, and if your mirrors are correct, you can get that. Even better is that typically (depending on the length of your car) if you can see both headlights in the side mirror, you have room to change lanes (or gain position over another car)

I dont mind the convex mirrors but yeah they're pointless if you have your mirrors adjusted properly. I have extra wide flares so angled out the flares aren't visible and I can see the entire lane. I forgot the convex are there most of the time

I’m glad I don’t have those mirrors. I don’t care for them on my Expedition.

It really works setting your mirrors this way.

Love the little mirrors. My F-150 had them, and so does my Bronco. One of the reasons I was okay with keeping the standard equipment package. Much better than having a warning light in my opinion
