MIC Top

So I have had my 2021 Bronco for around a month. It had 2100 miles on it and was a Ford Demo prior to me purchasing it. While I love it, there are some things that I don't love. My top rattles like an SOB, doesn't sign up very well which causes excessive wind noise and it looks like it is scaling (honeycombs). I have read about top replacements and I was wondering How do I tell if my top was replaced or if it is one that should have been?

Everything you mentioned was present on my "2.0" version top, so not sure it really matters. But there should be a sticker on the back clamshell that shows its production date.

Best thing I did for my Bronco was replace the MIC with a trektop.

The hardtop was already replaced for that VIN under the 21B49 customer satisfaction program.

With the aftermarket now gearing up releases of their offerings, I suspect Ford is going to have Mod Tops available at some point. Just a guess, I mean their is a market for it. Then again maybe not.

I have my hardtop on order from Armadillo. cannot wait to get it. I have a soft top btw.

The mod top was originally a '21 offering but never made it to fruition until the Heritage Edition; however there's supposedly been nothing but shortages to even cover those that were lucky enough to get scheduled. See the latest commodity list and you'll see HE's that were scheduled and with VINs getting cancelled so I don't see Ford offering them up on any other trim soon!

Hehe, not really worried about that. I use my mirrors. On a 4 door, that window is a loooong way back. Also, those are gull wings, so they can be opened or removed.

Even now Armadillo has made quite a few refinements to this design. Not sure why they have not updated the site, or perhaps they are waiting to have it completely done. They do communicate quite often, which one of the reasons I decided to go with their product.
