I was excited about the MGV but those washout floors leaves something to be desired. I just don't think they will aged well and that filmsy plug doesn't seem secure.

You can still put a weather mat on top. Will hold up better than carpet which loses its pile and sheenI was excited about the MGV but those washout floors leaves something to be desired. I just don't think they will aged well and that filmsy plug doesn't seem secure.
I replaced the carpeted mats in 2013 Accord with weathertechs, when it was purchased in 2013. The carpet underneath is pristine but the weathertechs have lost their luster over the years. For a while I had some Costco all weather mats on top of the weathertechs to protect the weathertechs and I think the friction between the materials messed up my weathertechs. You can still put a weather mat on top. My Tesla has some kind of a leather seats, composed of other materials. It reallyThe breathability of the MGV is pretty bad... I don't remember leather being so uncomfortable on long drives.
I keep a nice piece of sheep skin around for such situations... And it's awesome
I do not regret not getting leather. I have had mud and dirt in my Raptor a few times now. It will be in it again. I take it off road. The blue/orange leather seats are pretty dope. You guys might regret not getting them.
What’s your opinion about the original all weather mats?I have the MGV & washout floors. Love them both. Got her all muddy on Day 1 and pulled the plugs, washed her right out the next day. The MGV wiped clean with just a damp cloth. Squeaky clean. I just got the FoMoCo rubber floor mats. I used points so only cost me about $8 all in. They look nice but probably won't hold up like the WeatherTech mats do. But, they were only $8 so I'm sure I'll get my $$ worth.
