I was excited about the MGV but those washout floors leaves something to be desired. I just don't think they will aged well and that filmsy plug doesn't seem secure.

You can still put a weather mat on top. Will hold up better than carpet which loses its pile and sheen

I replaced the carpeted mats in 2013 Accord with weathertechs, when it was purchased in 2013. The carpet underneath is pristine but the weathertechs have lost their luster over the years. For a while I had some Costco all weather mats on top of the weathertechs to protect the weathertechs and I think the friction between the materials messed up my weathertechs.

The weathertechs still provide superior protection for the carpeted floors, they just looked used. Even with a weather mat on top of the wash out floors I don't think the wash out floors with

I went with MGV because I wanted the washout capability. I had a loaner with the MGV and rubber floors when my F150 Raptor was in the shop for 6 weeks and I didn't miss the power seat or the leather. I actually found the manual seat very comfortable and I plan on being topless most of the time so if I get rained on there will be no worries!

How are they in the hot summer? Do one material get hotter than the other?

The breathability of the MGV is pretty bad... I don't remember leather being so uncomfortable on long drives.
I keep a nice piece of sheep skin around for such situations... And it's awesome

The blue/orange leather seats are pretty dope. You guys might regret not getting them.

I do not regret not getting leather. I have had mud and dirt in my Raptor a few times now. It will be in it again. I take it off road.

That said the Blue/Orange seats look fantastic.

Quick question. I have mgv in my badlands. It's terrible in the summer sun. I see the other option is leather trimmed vinyl. Does the leather help with with heat or is there still to much mgv?

We had leather on the original order dropped it because we decided not to pay Ford that much money for trimmed seats and carpet. Figured we go aftermarket for way better quality. Still waiting scheduled week 3/20/23 ordered 1/21/21

I have the MGV & washout floors. Love them both. Got her all muddy on Day 1 and pulled the plugs, washed her right out the next day. The MGV wiped clean with just a damp cloth. Squeaky clean. I just got the FoMoCo rubber floor mats. I used points so only cost me about $8 all in. They look nice but probably won't hold up like the WeatherTech mats do. But, they were only $8 so I'm sure I'll get my $$ worth.

What’s your opinion about the original all weather mats?

Quick question, do we have confirmation on the following:
  • Leather doesn't have 60/40 rear split
  • MGV doesn't have heated seats
