If I remember correctly, all Broncos can use the FordPass app to remote start, even if button is not on the actual FOB.

(well not manual transmission)

I live in southern Florida and I don’t have any issues with the MGV even with the top down and/doors off. My windows are tinted and I have a Bimini top but that only helps so much
Is it a FORD Bimini top? If not what brand ?

You left out the part about no seat belt use and standing on the driveline hump holding onto the front seatback watching out the windshield while Mom fired up a Marlboro...

LOL
And no synchronized 1st gear. So a complete stop required to shift into 1st. Drum brakes all around. What I actually miss is the bright/dim switch on the floorboard. I don't like it on the turn signal arm.

Imagine there isn’t any AC. Imagine using a key and having to pump the accelerator to start your vehicle. Imagine having to manually crank your windows to get them either up or down. Imagine wipers had only two speeds. Imagine if there was a radio, it only received AM stations. Imagine non tinted windows. Imagine a ride so harsh, the fillings in your teeth rattled. Young folks are soft. Lol
My first truck except there was no radio and the three speed shift on the column. It had the harsh plastic vinyl (black of course) that fried your legs if you dared to wear shorts. And I was happy to have it as teenager back in the 70's.

I just lay a beach towel over the steering wheel and seat back when I know the Bronco will be sitting for a while out in the sun.

No Bronco yet (sigh) but live in Texas and installed Carhart seat covers in our Wrangler. You can take them out and wash them as needed. No wet butt issues. Not sure if Carhart makes them for the Bronco yet. Ours could fit a little better but not too bad.

I hear these will make your seats more comfortable...

I do miss my ventilated seats that I had on my previous vehicle. However, I understand why the Bronco doesn't have them and I'm not losing sleep over it. But they were nice!
My current Fords have a/c seats. I’ll miss them, if my Bronco ever arrives. At least my wife’s Expedition has them, which we use for long trips.

I have driven both leather and MGV and can say from a comfort perspective leather is far superior. From a maintenance perspective, MGV is superior. That said, the leather is far cooler to the touch and breathable than MGV and has an adjustable headrest which is essential to me. What made a huge difference was I tinted my windshield and windows with CR50 ceramic, and it helped on the days when it was 95+. I assume it would help as well in the MGV, I was out with a buddy who has the MGV (No tint), and we got off the trail for lunch. Locked up both cars and ate for an hour. We decided to switch broncos for the next portion on the trail, and when I got in his, my balls instantly started to sweat, and felt my back getting moist. Not to mention the headrest can only be described as a torture device.

For my use case, I love the leather, just get really good mats, and you will be fine. I rarely wheel with my top off, and when I do, there is a bimini shade, and my doors never come off.

I have seen too many people, my friend included, that have a lot of water retained when using the hose-out function of the MGV. Water gets in the seam of the passenger side floorboard. That worries me in the long term as well. I like my OEM mats, and they do an adequate job; cleaning them is a breeze when you get back.

Oh, most important of all -

Cup holders in the rear (Suck it MGV)

I have leather and they feel great! We are having a heat wave this week.
I’ll let you know after this if I feel the same.

Gonna be a heater here!!!

It is in my town. But I was just kidding... I live on the coast in California never hits 90+ here; we have amazing weather here all year.

We also have crippling taxes and stupid policies, but you gotta take the good with the bad.

We use a sunshade and we have tinted windows. Of course when you first get in the seats are hot, but we are not having swamp ass problems. We often go out and crank it a few minutes before we leave to help alleviate the heat problem. We finally got our gearshade put on yesterday!

Loving the Spartan helmet! My wife and I have done a couple of those events, a lot of fun, and it was nice to prove to myself that I was capable of more than I realized!

You're wrong there. MGV's job is to NOT breathe at all, because it's job is to stop your seat cushions from getting wet, even gore-tex or similar fabrics will eventually let water through if it is left to pool.
reading is hard....
