MGV Seat Stress Tear

I have a ‘21 with just under 30k miles and has a stress tear on the side of my driver seat. Anyone else having the same issue? If so, any luck getting Ford to correct the issue? It is disappointing that a $60k SUV has this issue in 3.5 year of gentle use and proper care.

You can ask Ford, but it’s not under warranty so they likely will not be inclined to do so.

My '21 has the same thing at 52K miles. I blame my fat @$$ for it. If it ever annoys me, I'll find a patch kit.

Mine is starting to tear in the seam in the middle of the seat.
