I would like to know what are the highest/maximum temperatures we can allow for the engine/transmission to reach before cooling down and what temperature is too hot where we would have to do an oil change.
Living in the desert, we have quite hot temps most of the year and ive noticed with my 2.7l Bronco, gets pretty damn hot (115 - 125 degrees celcius) on full load going up the dunes.
Have not been able to find any proper data on what is the maximum limits before you start damaging things.
This is the sort of terrain that she has to go through, lots of power needed on the way up and its always on the back of my mind that I may be putting too much load or heat on the engine.
