I see, I'm entitled. Got it.

Your questions:
Why does it matter? Transparency does matter. It establishes good faith between the buyer and the seller. We all want the best product possible (Ford and the buyers). Good communication is paramount.

What action would I take? I'm going to obviously keep my Bronco order. How long I keep it depends on what we actually get as the final product. The reasons for it's delay make me more concerned.

Why do I deserve this information? " Deserve" is a strong and loaded word. I would appreciate it. This world is completely lacking transparency and we (America) can do better.
Yes, you are acting entitled to information. you can decide if that is a good or bad thing.

They are being transparent, you just want more transparency. They have communicated, setting up a portal to show you what stage your future vehicle is in, but you want more communication.

What level of transparency and communication. would satiate your appetite for unactionable information?

I suppose I am comfortable with milestones and you desire more. it is a difference of opinion.

The Stig use to provide information from MAP, he was found out by Ford and they brought the hammer down on him. That sent a clear message to MAP employees, DON'T LEAK FORD PROPRIETARY INFORMATION.

Fortunately, @PREMiERdrum, not a Ford employee, has even better placed sources that give him and us tons of great insight, you cannot get any better.

There is a huge difference between transparency and proprietary information.

Over the past couple years that I have been a lurker/member here, there have been a few insiders that posted info. However, if you are looking for MAP insider information from a confidential source, I don't think blasting it across the #1 next gen Bronco forum is the best way to lure people out of the shadows.

Few came here before, forum members killed them
this, as well as some that used to be here that Ford found out about and quickly put the kibosh on.

RIP Stig and his potato camera

*edit*

Dammit @North7 how dare you be up slightly before me!

Are you saying your family member was fired for sharing information?
I'm saying he no longer works there...Draw your own conclusions.

How is it possible no one on this forum knows an employee on the inside of the MAP? A person that can give us “produced in purgatory” members a little info? So we can stop all the speculation about MIC, tow package, rock rail stuff. If anyone knows and doesn’t want to post the info just message me and I’ll post it.
Man, all them employees got Pegasus installed on their phones. Ford watching their asses like the CIA watches Russia. :cautious:

No leaks.....

And even then, Ross is careful on what he does and doesn’t say so it doesn’t lead back to someone getting canned. We as a forum are better informed than the other 95% of people out there with any involvement regarding the Bronco. Be thankful for what info you do have. Reel in your expectations a bit.

I’ve never worked while not bound by NDAs/confidentiality agreements. Assumed this wasn’t specific to my industry but seems like OP isn’t familiar

The FB groups have a few guys that say they work at MAP. If you're really hard up for deets you could try there. They're typically pretty tight lipped as well though.

Let me be clear. I do not want proprietary information just the basics about all those June builds just sitting in the lot.

I am not entitled to this information. Ford is making a product and I assume want people to buy it. If they don't care about the few people like myself, I am okay with that. That is their right to not cater to me. We thankfully have other options. They made a product that is very appealing and they have a huge opportunity to bring in new customers.

I am not a mole or rat or plant for Ford. If they went to that kind of effort then posts like this wouldn't exist.

Clearly this thread took a quick turn south. Have a great day and I hope everyone gets their Broncos quickly.

I'm out.
