I love to see 2 Door orders, so please order a new one. Who knows what resale of any vehicle will be in 5 years with all the EV back and fourth.

I also don’t think anyone should feel pressured to feel that only extreme off-roading is required; it’s not. Getting safely to a trailhead is all good and farther out than most, so have some fun with it.

Definately get it the way you want it if ordering. Color, config, whatever, go crazy. I did and have no regrets at all.

That's a good comment! Ford doesn't care about 2 door used sales ... only the new ones! So ordering a new one shows demand and more demand keeps 2 doors available!

I'm close to you, but I don't want luxury, Carplay and comfortable seats with a washout interior/floor were the main goals (other than a 7MT). I started with a reservation/order for a '21 Cyber Orange (Yellow) non-SAS Badlands, because at that time you couldn't order SAS with a manual.

Then, '22 I added SAS, and switched to Eruption Green (VB was my 2nd choice once Cyber Orange was gone).

It finally arrived as a '23 in March of 2023, $46k otd, dealer did invoice pricing with all of the price protection. They are really rare, but I love mine. I personally wouldn't want anything on the higher packages, less electronics, less issues basically.

Good luck!
That’s pretty much what I did. Originally reserved a base with plans for getting SAS and MT. We all know how that worked out so I switched to a CO non SAS Badlands with mid then switched it to high for ‘22 then switched to a RR Heritage for ‘23. Could not have worked out any better in my opinion other than I’d rather have hoss 3.0 than 2.0.

Buy what you want and enjoy it. It's going to depreciate, but maybe not as much as most cars. Wranglers seem to have good resale values, I don't see why the Bronco wouldn't as well.

Thank you to everyone for your input. I'm going to go ahead with exactly what I want and not worry about resell. If my past toy car buying pattern is any indication, I'll probably end up falling in love and keeping it forever anyway, hah!

It's a toy, and it's well within my means but I also don't want to get totally slagged on it if I do end up selling it that soon.
Desired features and supply/demand will always dictate "value" and sellability. Additionally no matter what a "value" is anything is truly worth what you can actually get for it. I learned this as a kid collecting basketball cards. As you have noticed finding a 2 door is much harder even more so with a manual so when you sell you will have a Bronco that is desirable and not as readily available. Regardless of value it will be easier to sell quicker and get value for.

It took me months to find a stick/2 door. I ended up with a 24 Big Bend, Carbon Gray. When I was looking 22,23 repo models were starting to surface. Mine is being delivered this week. I am new to this fun, having only owned sports cars. And yes I got a 1000.00 off with no charge roof rack, and steps. I am hoping a can find a close by Richmond bronco club that can teach this old beginner.

Late to the thread on this one, but I have a 2 door 7MT Badlands non-Sas w/High (I know you can't oder such a thing anymore) and its certainly the sweet spot in the lineup, in my oppinion. If you're on the fence still, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

I have a 2022 2-door base MT I bought used in Oct last year. Judging from the short amount of time it was on the lot, and the fact that multiple people wanted to put in offers after I sent my deposit, I think the resell market should be solid, although it might not go as fast as other trims. I may be a bit atypical, but it was the only transmission and body I was interested in, and I flew halfway across the country to get it and bring her home. An anecdote as opposed to data, but I doubt I'm alone.

The previous owner added 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers and a lift kit, which made it all the more special. Nine months in and it still brings me daily joy on par with the joy it brought me on day one.

2dr MT - yes

4dr MT - avoid. These sat on lots for the longest during the crazy peak pricing times. I think resale/demand is lowest for these because folks looking for a 4Dr might have families or hobbies and the MT is mostly a negative for them.
