I ran power to the battery on my v1 and there was no change, for me
I figured as much. Thanks for putting that out there.
It sucks that in order to get one that works, I have to buy 2.

We don't ever try to connect the USB expansion hub to a wireless charger.
I actually watched the install video and stand corrected. I see it goes to the lower USB plug.

@Mabett you are dodging some of our questions.... What about those that got the v1? Are we left with a product that barely does what its advertised to do?

@Mabett, I have your device rail. Will this work with that? I can live with the A port being blocked. I’m hoping you checked with your own product.

For those going with this option, it works great. Actually fast charges.

It's tough getting that wire fished through though...

I used this.

The light helped at night to see where the damn wire was going and finally grab it. Much patience required.

Does it work with BYOD rails?

I don't have those rails, so not sure. The original version many tried appeared to work with some rails and/or some of the ports were blocked and/or they'd cut/shave their rail down for Port access.

Of course, with Amazon's easy return policy, you could purchase, tinker with your setup to see if it works, and if not, return it. 🤷‍♂️

Looking at the pics again I am 99% sure it will not work. The USBC ports need to be all the way at the edges of the accessory bracket. I may put a grinder to my bracket to trim it a bit and then repaint. Still waiting for the intro discount.

@Mabett I am one who has version 1 and it doesn't do what I paid for it to do. It actually draws power from my phone as I drive. So I stopped using it because of this. So what does after sales-service look like for me and the others who purchased your v1 device? TBH, I feel like I wasted my time and money on a product I didn't get. While I appreciate the v2 addresses the shortcomings of v1, it seems wrong v1 people have to repurchase a whole new device. Why not show customer loyalty and give those who bought v1 the new harness. That's what we originally paid for isn't it? A working USB port? Seems wholly unfair for us to have to rebuy it again through no fault of our own. We have to pay for it 2x?? Giving a discount to rebuy it again doesn't feel like a deal if I've already bought it once before. Many of us support Mabett products, but this has put a bad taste in my mouth. So far I don't see any support for v1 owners. Just more opportunities for us to buy more. How do you think that sits with your loyal Bronco customers? This is your chance to make it right for those who supported your product early on and didn't get what they paid for. Make it right... Publicly.
