If you really want to make a historic mount. Make one that doesn’t block the camera or adaptive cruise control sensor. That would be a first!
Have you seen the Rough Country hidden mount?

I have a base bronco, so I dont have the modular bumper. Will it work with the regular bumper ?

I like that one, a lot, but it's not compatible with the 2.7L. And apparently it's not compatible with the Mod bumper (they've recently updated their website to point out this fact).

I will throw in my opinion here.

just browsing the marketplace, one could easily see where a bumper “closly resembling“ the HD Mod bumper priced in the $600-700 range would do quite well in terms of sales.

Nice work. I'd be interested in seeing the structural specs. Gauge of steel being used, type of steel, weld specs, and internal strengthening used. Would also want to see some lab testing of the strength and integrity. With a big winch on it doing some heavy pulling...last thing you want is a catastrophic failure.

Also, will it be powder coated in the Ford Carbon Gray - M7 color code?
I would as well, plus if they mix boron with their steel.

The Chinese steel industry is not subject to the same standards and testing as North America.

Yeah it's great but works only on one engine, and one bumper.

I talked to them a few weeks ago and they are making it where it can fit other bumpers. I don't know about what it would take to make out fit the 2.7L.

Interested if this fits the modular bumper with 2.7L engine and is less expensive than others when including shipping. Would consider either with or without bull bar - a removable bull bar would be nice, though.

Most important is how well this thing holds up to usage. This isn’t a simple decorative add-on. Can it withstand pulling a Rubicon out of a swamp?

I would say a "high rise" version that the winch mount area is just above the bumper. That way the mount plate can overlap the bumper to an extent or even for those willing to drill can drill into the top of the bumper to have the winch bolts go thru the top plate and bumper.

This way the winch can be "sucked up" or brought closer to the grill for a tighter fit and possibly improve the approach angle.

This may be a camera blocker but with slight revision the low mount could satisfy those users and the high mount those of us that do not have the camera and want a high and tight mount.

Just my .02.
Thanks for the suggestion
