I should note that the tread on my tires is significantly lower than when new. Fine for streets, but not ideal for rock crawling. About to get new ones. Iām wondering if I could have gotten over that last obstacle with newer tires/more tread depth - hard to say, the rocks were damp and pretty slick.
That really sucks! I would be so frustrated! I have a ā21 (I think it was built November-ish) Base Sasquatch 2.7L with just over 40,000 miles and zero problems. Any chance that lemon laws apply? No one should have to deal with those kinds of problems.
I am piggybacking on your thread. I installed the Form headlights this weekend. Watching their installation video, they state that the DRL harness fuse should go in slot 24, but the video shows them putting it in another slot (I think it showed slot 125 or 139 - those are both USB smart charger...
I did this recently with my base Sasquatch going south to north. Definitely the hardest trail Iāve been on in Virginia. There were some pucker up spots, but all good. Dented my rock rails. A few scrapes on the skid plates, but nothing crazy. Iāll probably add more skids for the trailing arms...
I have cloth seats which I really like, but I went with the bronco specific neoprene seat covers (maybe Mabbett, canāt remember) because we hike often and get in sweaty - also, the dog is muddy and nails tear up stuff. Also drive often with the top back. I find the covers reasonable - not as hot...
I once heard someone call the Camry āSoul Sucking Camryā and I immediately said to myself āyes! yes! thatās exactly how i felt getting in that thing everyday for years - hadnāt thought about it, but that phrase fit so perfectly! Now I smile every time I get in my base Sasquatch soft top. I...
The seats in a Toyota Civic or Camry or RAV4 are absolutely terrible and uncomfortable - I drove them for many years. I find the Bronco seats pretty comfortable. I also never bought a car I really liked - could only recently afford it in ā21. I love the Bronco. Soft top - every weekend feels...
Iāve got some deep ones on the doors. Wish I had put PPF on them. While Iād like to try and buff them out, I just have too many other things Iād rather do that are more fun, so, maybe someday!
What speed are you setting on the cruise control? That makes a huge difference. I set mine at 70 (72 max. ). Anything above that and I can watch the mpg dropping. I get over 20mpg highway with Sasquatch. With my mix of driving, Im getting 18.5 avg. at this point (4-door, 2.7, sasquatch, bash...
21 Base Saquatch 4-door 2.7 auto soft top modular bumper with skid plates and bull bar/winch plate added - 24,000 miles normal mode - lifetime average of 18.5 with a few off-roading trips. I use cruise control on the highway and stay 70-73 mph max. Highway only mpg is ususally somewhere around...
2021 Base Sasquatch 4DR soft top 2.7 auto mod bumper. Zero issues. Love it. Interior fit is good. Cloth seats are nice. Plastics are hard, though - could be nicer, but as a base finish, they work. Sound system is OK, not great. Fit of hood leaves a little to be desired, but OK. I feel like $43k...
It will go up and down as you drive. Sometimes (depends on how you drive), at zero when not accelerating. Measures pressure in the turbos as they spool up. If you can hear the turbos spooling up, the guage should be showing an increase in pressure. If they are not spooling up at that instant...
